    Tuliyollal Housing Items

This thread is ultimately a place to request new furniture, as I imagine future Housing Wards are out of the question due to sheer development costs and time constraints.(Ishgard took many years to come out and was committed to based on a promise at an older Fanfest that fans didn't forget.)

I want to start by saying that I absolutely love the furniture we've already gotten! An convey that I'd love to see even more continue. After the recent addition of new items from Tuliyollal, I want to express explicit interest in seeing Pillars, Partitions, and Partition Doors in a future 'Tuliyollan Style' a la the Riviera, Glade, Hingan, etc. furniture styles as a big fan of the zone.

Since Dawntrail largely moved away from expanding on Tural visually to focus on Solution 9, I think it'd be fun to give players who care about the aesthetics of the region even more options to replicate and emulate homes from the diverse city and its surrounding regions in the confines of their own existing home. Tuliyollal is a wonderful city and seeing it expanded in modes like Crystalline Conflict leaves a hunger in my heart for all the GPosers and Roleplayers out there to get even more content in the region like Ishgard and Kugane did.

HOWEVER, on the off chance that a new Residential district is even possible, here's also my genuine interest in seeing a Tuliyollal Housing Ward! But if not, I think it'd be wonderful if there could be Tuliyollal and Solution 9 interior design styles with the new system they've implemented in recent patches with the minimalist interior. I do think fans of both content should be rewarded for enjoying the content!

No this would be the worst decision possible even putting aside the fact that it's story-wise is not an 'expanding' city but a already built up maximized space location, we already have enough boring plain locations for housing we need futuristic housing plots like the promised MOON plots and sol 9 places that not only story wise have TONS of space available but actually make sense to have availability.

All this would do is add more fighting because it would be so limited in space due to story-wise the location not being able to grow since its literally built within ruins of a civilization past, with the Moon and Sol 9 they have room to IMPROVE the housing/ward network for the better.

Tuliyollal is not limited in housing space and the developers have said that cities in setting narrative are bigger than they appear within the limitations of the game. This is proven by the implementation of the "Bayside Bevy" as a PVP arena which is in another part of Tuliyollal that we cannot see past the wall toward Kozama'uka. Even beyond the technical aspects, there are characters in both the MSQ and the side-content storylines that freshly immigrate to Tuliyollal from both Eorzea overseas and Solution 9. In all of the patches after 7.1, there are people moving into Tuliyollal from Solution 9. The story counteracts this claim that it's limited. This is far more space shown to us than that of Kugane, whose housing ward isn't even attached to nor does it show people living in it beyond the contexts of merchant vendors and their stalls.

But even beyond that, I'm advocating for more options for BOTH Tuliyollal and Solution 9. They could do both and cater to both parties. I honestly think it'd be cool to have have S9 apartments and Tuliyollal-style housing.

Sorry I did not mean it should never come I just do not think it should be the 'next one' considering all the styles we have already it would be nice to have a futuristic one next instead of a tribal one where the houses are that are 'added' are made of sticks and twine. aka the Inn. I wouldn't call refugees of Sol 9 migrants by choice but sure the one or two that moved from Eorzea but in the story it literally said that no one from eorzea really even knows about those lands so no people are not migrating from Eorzea a handful did but not a mass exodus where a whole housing ward would be considered.

If people can have gingerbread houses I don't see anything wrong with having Tuli/S9 house interior/exteriors. I assume they'll continue to expand the interior theme feature after launching it with that minimalist interior.

A whole housing ward for S9 wouldn't make much sense given how their civilization is structured into highrise multi-unit buildings, but apartments could work. Of course then you'd have people complaining forever that they're only apartments and not houses. Tuli wards could be interesting, I don't have strong feelings one way or another about that one.

Personally I'd like to see Garlemald as the next ward location. It has an interesting steampunk-ish aesthetic and would make sense story wise since the place just got leveled and is being rebuilt with help from the other nations.

That would be a neat location but they already released a dreary snowy location last and I hope it's Thavnair. Thavnair not only would be great as a mix of Mist and LB but also needs reconstruction since they also had extensive destruction during the Final Days, look at the dungeon we had to go through. So that similar idea of rebuilding would work in Thavnair too. Plus, it's Minaa's homeland lol :3

And they released several pleasant sunny locations in a row before that. I don't think weather should be a disqualifier.

I think Garlemald absolutely fits the bill for "dreary snowy location", but Ishgard? I'm guessing people don't like stone architecture, but the views are amazing and there's nothing blocking your view of the colorful sky most of the time. Also, it can't rain in Ishgard!!! I'm so sick of rain in LB all the time lol but I guess it's an effective way to force me inside the house :P

To me, Ishgard fits the "classic gothic fantasy winter city" vibe, while Garlemald would be nice for that steampunk, dark, dreary vibe. Tbh, the only thing they have in common is that it snows, and it looked like Garlemald had a bunch of heating devices and such before everything blew up, so I'd imagine it to look more "lively" in a way, with the snow more as a second-thought. I think S9 is better fit for an apartment upgrade or something similar, and both Tuliyollal and Ratz-at-Han are pretty decent options. Sharlayan/Dravania would also be lovely, but I feel obligated to remind you about Werlyt's existence, probably one of the most charming little coastal towns we've ever visited.

why would they be apartments and not Condominiums with multi level?

Also why is everyone ignoring the fact that the loporits literally built a whole housing ward to house the entire planet.

Precisely. They have very different vibes other than being cold.

My point was that they would be units in a larger building and not the usual housing ward layout. Whether they're apartments or condos is beside the point.

As for moon housing, personally that's the last place I'd want them to add new wards but to each their own.
