This game's art style has always been rooted in Tokyo novelty stores. If you want a cohesive fantasy style, you should go play other games released 20 years ago.

Twenty years ago we had Final Fantasy X and its sequel, where some of the characters wore outfits not too dissimilar to this.

I think it looks neat but I wish they had a top without the jacket or better yet, a toggle like /visor does for headgear that takes off the jacket and vice versa, so many glam tops would massively benefit from such toggle.
