    Well, if it were me…
    • In terms of speed and precision of execution, I'd aim for Shadowbringers.
    • In terms of amount of logical reasoning required, I'd aim for Shadowbringers through Dawntrail (I dont think they're significantly different here).
    But that first point hints at the core issue here: When SE has limited mechanics to essentially being "dodge the AoE" or "ride the knockback", that leaves them with very few levers for controlling how "engaging" content is. Comparing EW to DT, it is in fact just one lever: make things go fast. But that's not the same as making dungeons more interesting; it just means you're busier.

    Dont think ShB would be enough either considering we had people back then complaining about doing all 3 versions ranjit's fight and that later on got adjustments. Dungeon wise the first set of dungeons also had their issues of complaints as well "being too stressful"...

    When ARR and Heavensward were new, it wasn't unheard of to wipe to dungeon bosses. They've been making the game steadily easier (as well as players have been getting steadily better at the game) for the past 10-ish years. Yoshi-P stated outright that his goal this expansion was to slowly increase the game's challenge since it was his opinion that the game felt less rewarding to players when every dungeon can be cleared without much difficult the first time you see it.

    The second boss is definitely tougher than a lot of the others we've seen for a while, so I can sympathize with OP on the learning curve for this boss. But I promise it's doable

    Perhaps its due to how unrelated to the topic it is which... honestly this thread should've been locked well before it got to page 7. OP came to the forums, got people to help clear.

    I'm tired of being told to wait for post-patches and expansions for fixes and increased healing requirements that are never coming. Healers are not fun in all forms of content like all jobs should be, they're replaced by tanks and dps due to low healing requirements and their dps kit is small for 0 reason, when in the past we had more options and handled things just fine. I refuse to play healer in roulette come DT. I refuse to heal EXs, I refuse to go into Savage, and I am boycotting Ultimate.

    As far as I remember, when I did the Mothercrystal trial with NPCs, I had two additional "lives" as a buff. It would be great if the trust dungeons implemented the same system as the Mothercrystal trial.

    P.S. I apologise if this suggestion has been mentioned earlier; I just have no time to read all 51 pages.

    I feel like one day after the patch launches and you haven't really had much time to learn/commit new things to mind isn't enough time.

    It is okay to be a bit slower when picking up mechanics, everyone has fights that are like that for them. I wouldn't stress about being 'older', but rather 'newer', as in 'newer' to the fight.
