No, there really doesn't. As much as I dislike these threads, I'd rather this not become the Bioware forums.

Posts like this are so unecessary. At the end of the day, it's just people's opinions. If you don't agree with it, you can either a) ignore the post or b) tell them your opinion on the matter. It's how forums work and if people can't handle that, then maybe they should just stay away from forums full stop....
There needs to be away to downvote a player's ability to post new topics to the point where they are disabled from doing so, or erase their threads from the thread listing when placed on ignore.
I have Rokien and Azurymber both on my ignore list, yet, when I go into the general discussion section there are no fewer than 3 topics by them on the listing.
They're on my ignore list, I shouldn't have to see the thread they make. Their incessant thread making is the very issue I put them on ignore to begin with. They can effectively troll the entire forum this way without punishment.
This really is a pox on the forum community.
I wasn't around on forums for 1.0. But judging from 2.0, these expectations/disappointment cycles are generated from people's inability to comprehend the information that was given them, compounded by preconceived ideas of what a game should be. Add in there a good ol' fashion rumormill and you've got a recipe for disaster that's not really in SE's control.

Problem is that the community it self speculate this and that... and now that Yoshi is being more open, ppl should stop speculating and stop end up being disappointed... =.= is annoying as shizzles.

I would prefer the careful, calculated advertising to a flood of promises that ultimately don't show in the Beta. Word of mouth will do the information spreading for them.
I'm more anxious for the Beta than I am for more gamplay info at this point. They've dropped info in interviews, Dev responces, Letters, etc to the point where I'm more wanting to actually play the game.
That's when we'll determine whether or not they've made communication mistakes or not. We're still 4 months away from 2013 - there's no huge reason to push promotion for a once-broken game at this stage. Wait until the players can confirm, through Beta Experience, that the game is going to be awesome, before SE starts broadcasting on loudspeaker that the game is awesome now and everyone should give it another chance.

This topic is talking of news refreshing and new

If you are a fan of FF or any Square Enix game this should not be something you are unfamiliar with. Square are the worst for it but it is an industry wide problem. Developers fear us, we can be the harshest of critics. The internet is full of haters and trolls and those people always shout the loudest. I'll leave this article here which I think is very relevant to this. I know it's from Kotaku but trust me for once this is an excellent read.

Now I advise you read Gabe from Penny-Arcade's thought on it: http://penny-arcade.com/2012/08/03

While I don't agree with Gabe's article entirely, the Kotaku writer is just wrong. Gabe did point out the scale and pressure of releasing things to the press. That's something the Kotaku article didn't really take into account.Hahahahahaha. Jason Schreier.

He didn't mention though that the Kotaku article's comparison to Hollywood was flat out false. Depending on the film, they are very secretive about everything. Even once the movie has been screened, (gaming's equivalent would be open beta), they still are adamant that the actors on the project are tight lipped. Just look at many of the promotional interviews with Gary Oldman for the Dark Knight Rises.
He also didn't mention industry competitors. When the game isn't released yet, you don't really want to be giving away certain things about your game that could potentially one up your competition. These things are meant for post release, but until then, it's obvious why you'd want to keep your mouth shut on certain subjects.
I don't know what that Kotaku writer was thinking with but, it sure wasn't their head.
