They said "100% agree" in the topic with OP asking for an easy mode. Come one you are playing with words here. Not necessarily "easy". More that there is no option eitherway which leaves the situation we have here; some players find it too easy and some find it overly challenging. There isn't a middle-ground.
But they didn't say "the game needs to be made easier to accommodate me".
I think the devs know this and are trying to make changes with the new deep dungeon to make it more accessible to all of there player base. I do think there should be more difficulty options in the game and would like to see that moving forward with all content minus Ultimate, however this dungeon is not going to drive non raiders away from this game and if a player is truly struggling to clear they can put a PF up and I am sure that people will come to help. Not necessarily "easy". More that there is no option eitherway which leaves the situation we have here; some players find it too easy and some find it overly challenging. There isn't a middle-ground.

If you cant clear the content you even have the trust system to help you out. The devs cannot make these dungeons braindead for the 3 percent audience vs the 97 percent who enjoy a mentally engaging dungeon run
The dungeons and trials were such a pleasant surprise for me! I felt like they struck a balance that seemed iffy in the earlier DT dungeons. Harder mechs with creative patterns/telegraphs. Difficult but not super punishing. The second boss especially was fun! I only have a slight concern regarding the first boss (and one of the bosses in the new alliance raid) accessibility wise, considering it made me dizzy and I am not one who usually does. Still, love it, excited to replay them.
7.3 story? Peak. I loved it. Sure, I can nitpick some small moments, but it was great! The reveal at the end made me so excited. I'm someone who personally loves that direction, and I think there's still plenty of loose ends that gives them great creative room with that choice of direction. I love the cutscenes as well! Someone mentioned they might be working with depth and new lighting and you can really tell. The graphics shone this time around and I love the animating they did. A lot less stock emotes, which is very appreciated. Overall, I'm satisfied and excited to see where the story is going to lead. Rough start in DT but that's to be expected. Made it up to me in the end. Oh, also:
Loved the detail where Calyx mentions that the endless Sphene knew he was watching her, she just didn't know who he was. This completely recontextualizes all the scenes where she tries to pull Wuk Lamat and us aside, but gets terrified seeing the soldiers. It also makes more sense. Because Zoraal Ja didn't really care to use those soldiers for spying, and he also really didn't care about Sphene trying to work together with Wuk Lamat. He believed in might over everything else so he had no doubt he would win, plus she always confronted him directly. So it didn't line up at the time. But now it's an ohhhhh moment, since we know Calyx regularly uses the soldiers for spying and he would be the one most upset if she managed to figure out a different way to fulfill her goal, somehow.
I've kinda hated this entire storyline, but I do enjoy the dungeons, raids, etc. 7.3 is no different for me, and I was hopeful Wuk Lamat was going to get killed off, but that's where my only disappointment was here. I like that the dungeon is challenging enough, as healer the second boss can be disastrous but it's fun.
Second alliance raid - all I can say is 'brutally fun'. Certainly a challenge the first week or two of course, and it will get easier as we continue. I was personally irked with crafting as I just pentamelded my heart, and now I have more to make, lol. Such is life.
I was able to predict the entire EW story. Does it make it any worse? No, it’s still one of the best stories I’ve experienced in my life. What matters the most is not the idea, but its execution. Every piece of content in this patch from msq to raids is absolute cinema. We’re not just back, we’ve reached a new peak.
Just wanted to quote this to show that it's not a "you guys" issue. I think it's fine that people like things that others don't. This person liked the story, I personally thought that it had good parts, and insanely boring parts. Doesn't mean they can't like what they like. And for anyone that isn't a fan, keep in mind that it's healthy to get gut checks on where others stand, and what they like vs dislike. I said it earlier but I wasn't expecting Robo Calyx to step through the homies ashes. That actually changed the tone of this patch in a big way, and it was non verbal. It tells me that there is at least one writer there that is an outlier, while at the same time there are other parts where you can tell that the writing completely changes and it goes back to saying the same nothings in different ways, or regurgitating the same points with different words or emote gestures. It's not all black and white.
Anyways my point is that I agree. We need to get to a point where we stop the white knighting and black knighting. The devs need our proper feedback more than ever lol.
I wish I could enjoy writing like this. Life would be much easier. I envy you and people like you.
The dungeon was great, the trial was fantastic, the alliance raid is amazing.
The ending of the story was very stupid but also very cool and spectacular, which adds up to good. I give it a game reviewer 7/10
I liked it fairly well, I wanted Ascians and I'm happy w/ that because I expected them anyway. Not interested in resubbing after my sub expires since I feel like a good break until at least 7.5 is needed, but not disappointed overall.
The second boss was definitely challenging, especially since each ROLE seems to have different mechanics, but it just meant that I had to retry it a few times because things weren't instantly readable. It's easier than the stupid 2nd boss of Yuyuwata, anyway.
