    I actually had sorta expected it. What I was NOT expecting tho, was the massive implications that it brought.
    If you pick up on the irl mythological connections, this whole thing with Calyx, Ascians, "winterers" is all very big especially with what we know about the Ancients


    I expect it's the groundwork for that "season 2" overarching storyline that DT was suppose to be the start of.
