Let people enjoy the damn game and story. You guys complain about "white knights" invalidating your complaints, but you guys invalidate the opinions of others that are positive.

I'm not invalidating anything, I'm simply shocked.

But I have revised my estimate for when this dumpster fire will drop to HW player numbers: August 2026.

Just wanted to quote this to show that it's not a "you guys" issue. I think it's fine that people like things that others don't. This person liked the story, I personally thought that it had good parts, and insanely boring parts. Doesn't mean they can't like what they like. And for anyone that isn't a fan, keep in mind that it's healthy to get gut checks on where others stand, and what they like vs dislike. I said it earlier but I wasn't expecting Robo Calyx to step through the homies ashes. That actually changed the tone of this patch in a big way, and it was non verbal. It tells me that there is at least one writer there that is an outlier, while at the same time there are other parts where you can tell that the writing completely changes and it goes back to saying the same nothings in different ways, or regurgitating the same points with different words or emote gestures. It's not all black and white.

Anyways my point is that I agree. We need to get to a point where we stop the white knighting and black knighting. The devs need our proper feedback more than ever lol.

I wish I could enjoy writing like this. Life would be much easier. I envy you and people like you.

I don’t see how the dungeons is going to push all the non-raiders.

I have never touched synced expert or savage content and I had no problems with the dungeon (I only had to figure out the Headsmen mechanic)

I agree that the story was pedictable, but i think thats ok. I think they handled its elements really well and the build up was good. It made me want more story after completing it.

I really like Calyx's villain arc and character. He has a lot of depth and potential.

For the dungeon and trial.

I liked both. Didnt find the dungeon too hard but i did as trusts. I still died a few times figuring stuff out. I think the difficulty is good. Not too hard, not too easy. I do raid savage though, so that has likely changed my perpsective.

The trial I liked, even though i have a preference for less fan service reference. That said i think it was done really, really well.

Its nice that the WOL is more in focus and giving the villains the Thorden trauma again.

Personally if they keep this level of quality, the game will start heading back to how it was.

How is the dungeon going to push away non raiders ? Tell me what other final fantasy game has 0 challenges or obstacles to overcome ? Every final fantasy game 7,13,15 ect has a challenge at some point. You are not playing animal crossing.
