I have to say, reading your reply and the post you quoted, I'm not sure how you came to conclusion that Mawlzy was suggesting that the game needs "0 challenges or obstacles to overcome". Because that isn't what was said at all.

Well I do agree difficulty of content is subjective to the player how easy are we wanting these dungeons to be? This is no where near the hard mode dungeon of ARR back on content. We can also use phoenix down in content now so what the hell is the issue with the difficulty. It is okay to wipe and try again, kids fall of on their bikes when learning to ride them the first time.
There shouldn't be non-raiders leaving the game over a dungeon design like this. Once again this is a final fantasy game not animal crossing

Not necessarily "easy". More that there is no option eitherway which leaves the situation we have here; some players find it too easy and some find it overly challenging. There isn't a middle-ground.Well I do agree difficulty of content is subjective to the player how easy are we wanting these dungeons to be? This is no where near the hard mode dungeon of ARR back on content. We can also use phoenix down in content now so it makes the content easier as well. There shouldn't be non-raiders leaving the game over a dungeon design like this.
But they didn't say "the game needs to be made easier to accommodate me".

In another topic, she talks about how the second boss of the dungeon is what "marks her endpoint with FFXIV" (one more on the list) because the mechanics are too quick.
It's literally complaining about challenges and obstacles.

The second boss was definitely challenging, especially since each ROLE seems to have different mechanics, but it just meant that I had to retry it a few times because things weren't instantly readable. It's easier than the stupid 2nd boss of Yuyuwata, anyway.
I was able to predict the entire EW story. Does it make it any worse? No, it’s still one of the best stories I’ve experienced in my life. What matters the most is not the idea, but its execution. Every piece of content in this patch from msq to raids is absolute cinema. We’re not just back, we’ve reached a new peak.

I liked it. It was a good story. Not at the level of 5.3 but entertaining even if predictable.
The dungeon was fun, the trial was nice and I enjoyed that we gave Calyx PTSD.
His plan was solid and probably could have worked if he had thought of the power of friendship I guess.
You can tell that they reacted to feedback.
The riddles with the keycards was reaction to the missing gameplay till now and I really enjoyed it. Please more of it.
Wuk Lamat took a huge step back finally and it's pretty clear that even the writers and Yoshida have learned that their little creators pet is not as liked as they hoped for. I won't miss her.
What I really want to give positive feedback is the small details in cutscenes. The blood from Wuk Lamat, the sweat on Calyx face and the way the robots "engaged" with Geode. Small details the animation team truly deserves credit for.
The whole scene with the later was handled incredibly good.
There are two things though I have to criticize.
Koana has been reduced to a pure comedy siscon. A huge shame as he was a character with potential.
The other is the handling from the devs of the things around it all.
Why go to such extreme lengths with "no spoilers", even making a boring trailer when there was no need for it?
All in all a good story. I enjoyed it and it shows that the dwindling playernumbers and endless chewing out of the story did have effect.
I look more hopeful to the future now, especially now that we are finally done with the DT area and it's cast (minus Sphene, who was good).

I enjoyed it as well, although you may want to spoiler tag that bit about the trial. I do wish they would have used the original music for that fight though instead of the much slower orchestral version they went with. Sucks a lot of the energy out of the fight IMO.Love it so much!!
•7.3 Main Scenario Quest:
-What a journey it has been! Epic and amazing cutscenes that got me on edge of my seat!
•Dungeon:
Heckin insane! (Took me couple of tries on the second boss. That shackle fight was wild lol)
•Trial:
-snip-
Thank you Yoshi P for this amazing journey for 7.3. Can't wait for more!

I thought it was great too. Didn't enjoy the dungeon, but I've outlined my reasons for that elsewhere and won't repeat here.
For reasons I can't really explain, this:

Put a real lump in my throat.
The cutscenes were definitely a step-up too!
