    FFXIV 2.0 animation diagonally back

    Ok, I don't know where can I put this.
    Well, I see the gamescom gameplay and I saw that the character hasn't the animation to walk diagonally back, ¿why??? This guys do a lot of animation, one more is not so much work. Please, listen to my request and do an animation for walk diagonally back, beacuse the character does is walk backwards but the feeling is that they slide.
    I think is a beautiful game, not spoiled by things like that.

    Diagonally has to do with your POV. In the end, it's just a straightline.

    Move your camera to walk in a Diagonal.

    I like the new one more. It feels much easier to keep control of your character, especially if you are a keyboard/mouse user.

    I think is a beautiful game, not spoiled by things like that.
    Has to be an MMORPG everyone recognizes and will play comfortably -- They can't afford to have better animations or it will stand out from the crowd.

    Realistically though it's very likely due to being alpha it's not fully integrated into the engine yet much like in 1.0's alpha characters had no sense of grounding and turning always tipped you to the ground.

    The new controls/animation looks like how every mouse/keyboard pc has to be.

    Maybe they will be a bit different if you select the Joypad setting.

    If you notice, the animation for "back+[left of right]" is the same animation that "back" only.

    But, on the other hand, there is an animation for "forward+[left of right]" and other animation for "forward".
