The new puzzle minigame thing in 7.3 MSQ was cool : )

gonna just list my positives that I got from this patch(that aren't straight out story spoilers) since I do hope they implement these more in future MSQ + I heard that the team browses the forums.

having the puzzle minigame was fun as it helped break up monotony of what would've been a series of "talk to character A" then "talk to character B". (quite enjoyed a certain hidden reveal too that you get if you go back to click on a certain thing.)thank you for that!

+ enjoyed the cinematography this patch as well, there were quite a few new tricks and gimmicks used this time which was also cool

I really enjoyed the puzzle. It's something small and short, but it was a great break from just blocks of dialogue (truthfully, I was a bit too excited about it; my husband couldn't understand all the fuss I was making (´艸｀〃). I'm happy they took the feedback to heart and hope in the future they'll continue this.

(Also... did we have "lip quivering" before? I focused so hard on it, just trying to think if I've ever seen them do this animation. Would love more micro expressions! Though they probably can't go too far with them right now, it added much more character.)

YES! The mini puzzle was the most "Final Fantasy" quest thing we've had in a long time.

Honestly these sort of "puzzles" are so insultingly simple I'd rather they didn't even bother.

I liked it, it had this very old school feeling that I enjoy in older games. It didn't have to be difficult to me, just a nice relaxing but interactive segment before the showdown, and I've always liked puzzling together clues in games. I'll take more of these anytime.
And I'm so much happier with this than another round of "Click on this rapidly moving object" or "Sneak after this shady person or child".

The experimenting with an interactive environment was good imo. ik the puzzles were insultingly simple but I think it was more a proof of concept than anything, and deffo something that would be nice to have in non-msq portions of the maps in later expansions. Just so there's not super interesting looking parts of the map that are never explored or talked about
