I feel like we have become immensely disrespectful towards the developers and their ability to deliver good content in such short windows of time. It may not seem like it but FOUR MONTHS isn't exactly a lot of time when it comes to developing a game. Giving constructive criticism is one thing, but our constant demanding everything now now now, just sounds like spoiled toddler behavior.

By all means keep providing TACTFUL, constructive criticism, but lets be mindful, developers and testers are people too. Consider how you would feel if your boss lorded over you constantly, rushing you to meet deadlines, all whilst belittling your work and the moment its done, its not enough or not good enough. That's how we are treating them right now...
Respect is earned not given they had our respect back in SHB and EW and they threw it out the window with DT, If the devs respected the feedback they got they wouldn't have these ultra long patch cycles people have been wanting more content faster since.... at least EW that's 3+ years ago. why are we getting fanfiction instead of in game quests?

what is this? why isn't it in game content quests that could fill the time further flush out the characters?
12 knows DT characters aside from Wuk Lamat needed more development.

furthermore yeah they are people but again they are also taking your money no one is lording anything over them we just want them to have the patch cycle that they used to have you've been playing the game since the start 2011 it looks like so you've seen the abandoned projects the lack of focus if someone that worked for you kept giving you incomplete work would you back off and let them keep giving you slop because you wouldn't want a boss demanding work of you?

@OP If you loath the game and it's devs so much why are you subbed? You are contributing to the problems you are complaining about this is very Tia like behavior.

Realistically your answer would be unsubbing for a years time and coming back when there is more content if at all.
a virtual house means little if you are this annoyed with the Devs after all. there are better wastes of time than being salty while still being subbed to what has you salty.

No, they do this because they are an agile shop like all good modern software development, and it makes no sense to release all the content at once because it means you can't do parallel development. Each time a feature is finished from development, it is sent to QA and the localization teams to finish, while the actual programming teams move on to the next cycle of patch content. That's the nature of any live service game. The smaller feature point releases mean that the bug fix team isn't overwhelmed for 1 week after patch release, and then has to sit on their thumbs for the next 3 months.

Edit: To be more specific, they use feature driven development and they seem to have 3-4 different teams each working on different stages, in parallel with one another, on different features.

To answer the question in the thread title, October 7th was announced as the date for the MHW crossover, which means that is the release date for 7.35
