I wish I could afford it, but not wanting to waste money on the game is already half the reason why I let my sub run out for the first time since I started playing in 5.1 in 2020. Even if I could afford it, I probably wouldn't want to get it just out of principal at this point.

I mean this is exactly the issue, right here. Even as a hypothetical you're waffling on it, leaning towards wanting to buy it. I know "gamers voting with their wallets" is basically a meme-idea at this point, but if they actually did, we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

This is unfortunately probably a problem from the higher ups. They know people will pay so they keep pushing the bar to see how far it will go. Hopefully they don’t end up killing their cash cow.

I feel like island sanctuary was one of the best pieces of content in the last few expansions. Several pieces of really nice glam behind a very lengthy grind that you could do at your own pace.

To get over the guy who says that shop helps build this game --> that is very wrong. Subs are already paying a lot of cash for this game. Shop is there just for more greed because some of you don't have border of when it's enough. Thus you will buy every little thing they introduce in this game, effectively the reason why we have this state.

If previous season rewards are gone and "limited", then why you put them at shop later? If they are "Limited". Please, it's all made so if you forget about it "FOMO" effect, then grats now you have to buy it and people will.
The only reason why shop was invented is because it's a testing ground and it always works no matter how many people complain. There will always be whales willing to dip thousands because they are manipulated and scammed. Sad reality but yes.

I have literally witnessed players saying "I will buy everything the shop sells when they put new stuff in it because I'm supporting the game and making it better DDDDDDDDD"

I dunno how people can be so willfully stupid but my ability to be astonished by much is still continuing to dwindle.
