The current GNB mechanics have better synergy with the NA/EU Horde Stampede meta, and most casual players tend to pick targets that are easier to kill.
If a player’s assist ratio is 50% higher than their kill count, they’re likely just tabbing for the kill rather than contributing meaningfully.
It’s hard to make casuals—and even some veterans—realize that tanks are easy to kill within the first three minutes, and should be prioritized to prevent their Battle High from building up.
Given that I played that match and I was actually there seeing how I was playing, I can assure you I was sufficiently in the fray to notice changes to purify. The current GNB mechanics have better synergy with the NA/EU Horde Stampede meta, and most casual players tend to pick targets that are easier to kill.

lol I disagree. If our general ideas of what constitutes as Frontlines casuals align, between a PLD in closer proximity to them or something slightly further away like a WHM or BRD, 3 out of 4 times the casuals will hard-focus the PLD. Even after it's popped Hallowed Ground. Even if Guardian isn't a factor.
