    PAtch 7.3 notes

    So there are quite a few amount of buffs that I was not expecting, given that there was no ultimate this patch. Guess they want more peeps to clear cruiserweight savage.

    Note: the new trial can also be done with NPCs. This is not a common thing they do with trials, so just pointing it out.

    Hammer Brush: Potency has been reduced from 500 to 560.
    Potency increase from the trait Pictomancy Mastery IV has been changed from 560 to 580.
    Copy and paste detected. That's clearly an increase.

    An issue when using the Duty Recorder wherein playing back a recorded duty with the name display type set to something other than full name resulted in job names appearing as initials when portraits were shown.
    Surely the only person that uses the Duty Recorder is the Square Enix QA team. I don't understand why they still bother.

    You know what's funny?

    They buffed Auto Crossbow.

    Then, they buffed Double Check and Checkmate!

    Seriously...do they not understand how trash Auto Crossbow is? Because even in AoE situations it doesn't matter. Even in Savage Auto Crossbow isn't a gain - it's a loss. They need someone to seriously take a good look at the job and understand how it plays, because it's quite obvious now that none of them playtest MCH and say "hey, this button is pretty useless because of this rotation. Let's give Auto Crossbow the same treatment as the Single Target during Hypercharge". It's that simple a fix and still they botch it.

    Strongly Suspect M6s is walling a LOT of players given they just buffed pretty much all AOE across the board.

    boring changes, though its getting to the latter half of the expansion where changes wont happen

    At least they didn't ruin any jobs this time so congrats on that i guess.

    Yes, AoE is part of it, but I feel like most people are getting Yan'd one way or another because the Tank gets slapped, or the Mus don't die in time due to rotational issues. It's still basically "spam your AoE" during Adds Phase as is so part of it could also be mechanical failure on others' part since there are puddles to drop.

    Glad to see they're still devoting resources to content the majority of players don't engage with.

    Outside of the immediate future, the healer aoe changes were certainly because of m8s in p1 and p2. The add phase in p1 where you could not hit the other side with your standard aoes heals and then in p2 with the platforms. Also some parts in m7s mainly with the deatmatch parts.
