But many people don't want to go to Dynamis despite advising them to send an alt if they want to keep their mains in their current world like I did. So you can't really fault the wards being bought up by bots and such when they sit empty for years even. I do agree with restricting housing to just one personal and one FC per world and I would be ok if it was restricted by data center. They should force those that own entire wards to have to give them up and refund the full cost of the plot, that would free up thousands of plots across all data centers.I think the ward system is fine. We just need more wards…
If I would make changes to the wards system it would be:
1. More wards. Every expansion should get a new housing area. We have 3 from ARR, 1 HW and 1 SB… we been SHB, EW and DT aswell
2. No need for a subscription. Or an extension like 1 year. So when you take a 1 year break it’s still there.
3. Account bound housing instead of per Character. I have seen so many worlds/wards just owned by 1 single person, like in Chaos (Probably Dynamis and Materia as well). And too be honesty its really unfair for the people that don’t have a house to not get it because 1 single person just owns 1 whole Ward.
Thats kinda what I can think of right now

True that yeah, I also wouldn’t move to Chaos just because of housing. And I haven’t thought about it but indeed One per data center would be pretty decent! But many people don't want to go to Dynamis despite advising them to send an alt if they want to keep their mains in their current world like I did. -slow claps- this all you had to say in the beginning here you would have avoided headaches if this was how you made your point from the start. cause as you can see no one was asking to take away homes in this thread they were simply asking to have their own home without the limitations imposed by current the current system :P
Thank goodness you were trolling. You might have actually contributed something to the thread if you hadn't.-slow claps- this all you had to say in the beginning here you would have avoided headaches if this was how you made your point from the start. cause as you can see no one was asking to take away homes in this thread they were simply asking to have their own home without the limitations imposed by current the current system :P

oh i did contribute to the sentiment and ideas my dear Solowing, you just didn't like how i worded it :P but lets just call our truce here now yeah? you've made your points and i had my fun messing around. lets let these fine folks get back to their days/nights i am sure they are tired of the back and fourth by now.

Yall kiss already, your characters look like they're a married couple anyway. You could cut the tension from this bickering with a knife.
WAR don't get changes because they don't need changes. They only need more enemies to cleave.

It would be Wild. Though ngl, be it Stockholm, or be it "I got better at decorating" but the love I had for my modest small plot grew more and more until I only bid on larges I'd think I'd like the view better than the one I have right now.
Will I ever get one? Probably not, but at least the desire for a Large Plot is now just casual instead of yearning lol.
(Still the pity system I would love, especially fi they did an SSR animation if you win lol)
I've hit gil cap trying to get as many tickets as possible for bidding. I'm actually well on my way to doing so TWICE out of SHEER, UNADULTERATED SPITE, because I'm sick of losing bids. Even with 36% of the tickets on a plot at one point – we lost out to some 11 man FC that's mostly made up of the world's most obvious alts. At what point is Square Enix going to make a limitation of only certain sized FC's being able to bid on stuff? There's no reason to have a Free Company with less than 20 people in it, especially when I see so many plots up with less than 5 people in the group.
I'm happy with my personal small. I don't mind my personal small. But Free Companies – especially the larger ones – need a bigger space to operate in and instead I'm losing lots with 25+ tickets on the bid to Suzy Subs-a-lot and her 3 man FC. It's well beyond absurd at this point.
