Fireworks are not worthwhile endgame content and i really want them gone

Why is my inventory inundated constantly by these things when i engage with Occult Crescent and Cosmic Exploration?
I think fireworks are cute little effects to have as optional items to pick up every event or for eternal bond ceremonies etc. but i think its becoming a serious problem that these are seemingly all I get after hours of grinding.
I get the idea is to not constantly shower us with all the rewards we want all the time, but with cosmic exploration, you need to invest a significant amount of time to get enough lunar credits for fortune attempts, and yet since it launched, I've barely anything to show for it.
I get its also for leveling, getting DoH and DoL relics, etc.
But when i have to invest so many hours of my time to this content and my only reward to show for my efforts is a png rotating above my head for a few seconds, then why even bother?
Once you're finished with getting your relics done and having your classes leveled, the whole thing just starts to feel pointless.
I don't understand why not just put more worthwhile filler rewards in such as gil, orange and purple scrips, or maybe even some items that give you a temporary stat buff that only applies to cosmic missions?
I hope that they make some more rewarding systems for players that dont have anything left to level or progress.
Furthermore, when it comes to Occult Crescent, are they seriously not gonna nerf the drop rate of, or remove ribbons from the gold chests?
I know that there's basically no brand-new rewards given by chests, so filler rewards are inevitable, but could we at least throw in more gil or that coin that sells for 300k, since it's only in the bronze world coffers?
Why let something as rare and time consuming as getting a fortune carrot and scouring the map to find the bunny, lead to getting just one singular firework, a handful materia and 70% less gil than the just-as-rare eureka gold bunny chests?
It shouldn't even be in that loot table to begin with.
When I run some OC and hop between that and Cosmic, I rarely ever feel like my rewards were worth the effort I put in after i finished progressing and it's led to both of them feeling frustrating and like it doesn't respect my time.
We have an update cycle that asks of you literal months to gear up a single job, and puts arbitrary restrictions that are there to waste time and nothing else.
Occult Crescent and Cosmic exploration are pieces of content that should mitigate that repetitive, slow style of endgame, and the rewards being plagued with an endless shower of floating pngs completely defeats the point.
I wish they would at least consider making this content a good gil making method or at least give things like tomestones and scrips to at least give SOME sense or reward after the hours i've put into it.
I just had to ramble about this cause my inventory has hundreds of each of these fireworks and idk if that's just my rng or what, but it drives me up the wall.

They are clearly used as a junk reward to say "you got nothing, here's consolation party popper full of nothing of substance".

But I agree it's annoying and I'd much rather literally get nothing and it just say "nothing was in the coffer".

    Confetti and disappointment, my favorite.

I'd take 10 gil over those (or whatever their vendor selling price is).
And it would save dev time on graphic resources.

I like what they add to the game but they shouldn't be some junk reward. They should just be sold by vendors.

Because this game loves to hinder players and make them feel unappreciated. The only game that really tries to push you away and make you question yourself if you want to do it again.

    That's just it.

Throughout the life span of FFXIV, players talk about not having enough bag space. What they are really saying is less that they don't have enough bag space, and more that they have issues with inventory management. They can do it, but it's not fun to do it. You spend too much time in FFXIV managing inventory, and the causes for the frequency of inventory management are bad design. Bad pity prizes are examples of things that contribute to it. To get confetti items is worse than getting nothing, because now you have the burden of having to get rid of it. I rather it be like 1 gil, because then at least I don't need throw it out later.

The worst culprit is Eureka Anemos. I rather get 10% as many lockboxes if more of them had items of value than hundreds of lockboxes with confetti or items that have no market value because you made the drop rates so high they are worthless. They just don't understand good reward systems from a psychological or user experience standpoint.

To be fair, every other MMO I've played has been an inventory management nightmare as well. And it's worse because those games did not have "recommended gear" buttons so I had to hold onto things and compare gear stats. Some of them had lockbox type items as well.
