Odds are, it was one of the *several* Stormblood dungeons containing mobs that do outrageously more damage than average. If I'm a dps and a tank in a lvl 70+ dungeon is going one pack at a time, I'll usually pull a pack and dash into them so they can grab aggro back. I take minimal to damage every time. (But I got yelled at by a wall of macro text funnily enough). If they have a problem with it I'll begrudgingly stop. Begrudgingly because its a lvl 70+ dungeon and I feel as if the tank should know to double pull at that point, or maybe even at 60+. And also as someone said, it takes 1 button to take aggro back.
If I'm tanking and a healer/dps pulls ahead, all power to them. Didn't even need the aggro buff to x aoe tank skill back then. Bluntly but politely, y'all need to get good. You don't need a PhD in tanking to double pull or take aggro back.
If you're learning and someone's being rude, up theirs. If you're not learning and someone's being rude, up theirs anyways. But also learn to take advice in a critical way. It feels good to get better at a game and help others get better in return.
I think I know which one you're referring to
I think I know which one you're referring to haha. Gotta be smart and quick with that one if yoinking stuff to the tank and trust your speed or heals. It's scary all around and I prolly have some sort of ptsd from it.
