During my lunch break today I thought it would be fun to pop over to sinus ardorum to work on getting some glam stuff (and the emote that continues to elude me) finding it more or less empty aside from couple of people afk at the hub.
That's fine, I play alone anyway, but then I ran into an issue when the mech-ops popped up. I was the only one there doing ground support. didn't see anyone in mechs aside from the untargetable npcs, and in the entire span of the op I was barely able to make a dent in the progression.

As interest tapers off in favor of the newest content, the hardcore players focus on the next grind, and even the mid players finish their current stage of their relic we need to see more tuning to things so players who aren't done can still complete the world events or progress through without relying on other players to be there at that moment. (this isn't specific to just CE, i've noticed it with attempting to do older group reliant content like bozja and eureka since both zones are almost always empty when I go) A scaling system that takes into account how many are in the event zone, or something similar would be a great start, tuning things to take into account for shifting of interest and players who either started after the content was implemented or weren't able to get to it when it was at peak interest.
