Purple scrips and related

Hello All

I need your help once more. I try to understand purple scrips properly, but fail. To read more stuff on the internet just add to the confusion. So I'm back here!

Issue: I want to obtain crafting jewels, gears and tools at/above level 55.

Problem: The purple scrips I have seem to be for gatherer stuff only?

Questions:
- There are two different purple scrips? For gatherer stuff and for crafting stuff?
- If yes, how do I obtain the purple scrips valid for crafting stuff? Because the collectable appraisers I visit give me only one sort of them...

I really feel lost in space with those purple scrips.

There is a clickable drop down menu. It gives multiple options for crafters/gatherers. The purple scrips will purchase both sets of gear/items etc. You obtain them mainly by doing collectables. There are aq ton of guides online for this.

1. Yes, the scrips are separate for crafters and gatherers each. There are crafter purple and orange scrips, and gatherer purple and orange scrips. You will likely only be dealing with purple scrips until max level.

2. You normally obtain scrips via Collectables. You get a giant load of these each week by doing 12 Custom Deliveries. If you aren't familiar with these, they are similar to Society/Beast Tribe quests, except for crafters/gatherers, and have a storyline you can progress. Custom Deliveries still involve collectables but you can only do 12 of them per week and only 6 of them per NPC.

For gatherers specifically, you can obtain purple scrips from Ocean Fishing as well.

Your reply was exactly what I needed to understand my problem: I hadn't noticed the two different forms of purple scrips:
- Hexagonal ones, applicable for crafter's stuff.
- Square ones, applicable for gatherer's stuff.
I stupidly failed to see that. For me, they were the same, causing the whole confusion...

And with that, everything becomes clear.
