FC Lead was immediately passed to another player.

So I deposited most of my main character's gil into the FC chest, and passed lead to my alt character on the same account. I log in 4 days later on alt to find that I do not have leadership. According to fc activity I see that the same day I passed lead to my alt character the in game system removed lead and gave it to random player in my FC.

Help, please help. My alt character was inactive but I had planned to log in this weekend on him, not that it mattered because according to the activity, they stripped my alt of lead the same day I gave it to him.....Now all my gil and my FC are at the mercy of someone I don't know and hasn't been on in 6 days.

Sounds like the system determined that your alt was not a legitimate FC lead at the time it became lead, due to inactivity.

Your best bet would be to assume the other FC member has no ill intent and try to catch them online, explain the situation, and ask them to pass lead back to one of your characters who has recently logged in.

The system seems to be working as intended so support might not make any changes.

I'm scared to bring it up to the person because if they check FC chest and see close to 100 million gil sitting there.....

I'm just kinda shocked they would let me transfer lead to a character that they dubbed instantly ineligible. So essentially they allowed me to transfer lead to an alt that is not eligible to receive it, then they kick it off to someone random. That can't be working as intended right? That seems like a loophole that hasn't been plugged yet. Why allow someone to transfer lead to an ineligible character? I sent a ticket out to in game support, they asked questions, the website support ticket was awful complete copy paste reply that didn't invoke confidence that they understood what I had reported. I'm trying though, thank you for reply.

The assumption is people would not have random untrustworthy people in their FC and that FCs should exist as more than just a way for unsociable players to nab estates and farm submarines.

What happened to your original character? If deleted, maybe you have a backup of them you can download from the cloud?

That’s a good point, they should just give you a warning message in this situation.
