I honestly don't see the problem not gonna lie not everyone is against genderlocking I am actually for it x)The pants ARE the issue. Men are always getting slacks. The amount of stocking we get is far far less in comparison too women's, and we have zero option garter/thigh belts.
It works the other way as well. I know plenty of female players who wants pants for female characters.
Tell me why? Because other than an occasional piece where girls get a dress or show more skin, neither of which that shuld be locked only to women, btw, most glams are already gender neutral?
And some the glams that aren't are sorta stupid. Why do men get pants with the Tycoon? Why do female dragoons get an unnecessary tummy window in full plate armor in the dragoon artifact glamours?
The things I do for the glam...
While you probably didn't see it unless you're reading lots of threads today, this person intentionally misgendered Wuk Lamat's voice actor earlier today in a thread. The source of their opinion seems pretty clear to me.Tell me why? Oh, ew, thank you for telling me that they're just a horrid person.

The pants are literally the entire problem.
I don't want awkward looking skinny slacks with a belt on them that look super close to a ton of things we already have access to, I want an interesting and unique piece of gear that happens to show off a little of my character's skin, this shouldn't be so hard.
THANK you, I couldn't find a screenshot of this anywhere last night x_x
>_> Shorts on a guy isn't crossdressing, and we even have a VERY few pieces in-game that are almost as short as these already (albeit not as fancy). Though I do appreciate that you at least agree everyone should get nice things.

Going through the show of ungenderlocking old gear to only continue to give frustrating discrepancies between the gendering of new gear. More than disappointing at this point. At minimum we should be given a choice between revealing and not.
It really feels like the rarely used /visor functionality could and should be expanded (and well, of course renamed). There's clearly already something in the spaghetti code that comprises this game to adjust visibility and/or position of positions for meshes. Doesn't seem like it'd be that much of a stretch, especially with improvements they've made, to control materials as well.
Missgendered? where did I when her voice sound like a male sorry
the reason isn't much not gonna lie I am just old and have grown in a place where all this is well alots like I don't care over all of they do on some gear in the slightest because yes some are unisex.Tell me why? to me a dress should be linked to woman or 2B legging should be with the dress because buttcheek xx)
It’s because Square Enix is copying ideas from mods.
You know what looks good on a man? Armor. Where is that? Oh wait, modbeasts don’t wear armor, do they? And most of them are female? Now tell me how bad WoW’s “sprayed on” armor looks when we don’t even have any.
