did something odd happen to accounts?

hey i was on a bit of a hiatus, like a month, and i got an email saying there was suspicious activity and to change my password.

i did so, and when i logged on my character had been moved to cactuar and all my gil, about 6.5 million, was gone.

wtf happened, was there a server breach or something? and is it possible to get my gil back?

EDIT: i searched support and saw they can do a rollback, i dont know my exact last time logging off but I got the email on the 21st so I guess i'll aim for about a week before that, should be fine.

Not sure, but to me it sounds like one of two possibilities.
    1. You got keylogged and obviously don't have 2FA enabled (OTP Codes)
    2. You account shared and that person just simply wasn't trust worthy.

I'm going to lean more towards probability #1.
Only reason I can see them actually refunding and sending you your stuff back is due to IP Logging and spotting a different IP.
