I guess you're referring to the people who didn't quit when the dungeons got harder. They've already made things harder and for the most part people are fine with it so the OP is a moot point.
The bigger issue is every dungeon being AOE two packs -> boss -> AOE two packs -> boss -> AOE two packs -> boss. I understand the current design is a direct result of player behavior with the old designs, but there must be ways they can mix it up. WoW had a dungeon in Wrath that was just one big room with prison cells and each boss was a prisoner that busted out, maybe they could experiment with stuff like that.
Having something like Unreal difficulty dungeons, where it's literally an old dungeon updated to current numbers, would also help dungeons be a little more interesting just by giving us a tad more variety. Stick those into Expert roulette and you'd get something more than just the coinflip roulette we have now.
The blue/purple light in Dzemael Darkhold that gives damage reduction + good dungeon music + interesting boss fight at the end + lots of mobs to pull. Fun for tanking and healing in my opinion. Stuff like that please. For example, small, non-fatal interactions with a dungeon's environment: The binding traps littered throughout Hullbreaker Isle. The tornadoes and waterspouts of Neverreap. The water faucets in Saint Mocianne's Arboretum. The wandering tonberries in Wanderer's Palace. Etc.

Because people llloved a2 :3They've already made things harder and for the most part people are fine with it so the OP is a moot point.

Anyway. I used to like dungeons. Not anymore.
I liked them as half brainless chore. I dont like the sweat and busyness of current dungeons. I get my tryhard fix from other places.
But we probs dont go back to brainless chore mode.
So called hard modes of old dungeons were fun to me, too. But those were done away with in SB. Oh well.
og steps of faith had some fun player mechanics though
without fun jobs none of the content is fun!
jobs should have their full rotations on lvl 60 or 70! for a better low lvl experience.
for satisfying glam builduing we need 5 basic glamplates + 2 more for each class / job
pls give us a proper glam collection like every other mmo has.
pls upgrade the gear from normal raid and also alliance-raid by 10 ilvl each.
pls add old glowy ex trial weapons for new jobs!
and for gods sake pls give as the ability to preview any hairstyle on our own character!
