I just started playing again recently. Have 3x 100's. Tried queueing ranked and i just cant find a match. I sit in que for a hour sometimes then just give it up. Are there just no matches at zero mmr?

Assuming you are queueing for ranked CC, the queue is generally dead for low ranks (unranked-gold) after the first week of a season. Sometimes it will pop during primetime if you are lucky. It will always be like this until the devs add rank decay, which is apparently never going to happen.
Just queue casual CC if you want to play CC right now.
Damn, Thanks for the reply though
You pretty much have to play during the first week or 2 of season launch to get out of low/zero MMR or you won't be able to play ranked for the rest of the season.
Possibly because of a combination of no rank reset each season (you pretty much never start a season in low MMR again after you make it out during the previous season) and everyone being under the impression of not being able to play ranked again after those first 2 weeks if they don't do it right away (FOMO).
SE has cemented FOMO into the playerbase so hard that it will be nearly impossible to convince people they don't have to bum rush content immediately on release lol.
There is just not enough players at most times trying to play ranked, that's the sad reality of it. People aren't staying queued for hours when obviously there is less than 10 people of similar rank queued up.
