Unable to Relocate FC House

With the auto-demo timers enabled again, there's loads of new housing up for grabs. Unfortunately, it seems the lottery won't allow the FC leader to put in a lottery bid if the FC already has a house. It gives an error saying I own too much land on my service account and does not give me an option to enter for relocation or anything like that.

I submitted a bug report and the team just said it's working as intended. But it's not? I have a personal home and an FC house. The FC house is a small and I'm hoping to relocate into a medium/large... Unless SE removed the ability to relocate entirely, seems like it's not working as intended.

Seems like this bug has been around for a while now too, based on some quick research.

No point in submitting another bug report, so I'll just leave this post here and hope GMs take notice and understand that as an FC owner, I cannot enter a lottery to relocate the FC house.

I know relocation worked for me when it came to personal housing (went from Small to Medium) but I've never tried relocating when it came to FC housing, at best I simply helped the rest of the FC I was in at the time to bid using FC funds (that got partially returned after they won, FC leader let us all keep a portion for helping).

Hmm... now that I think about it... I don't know if the FC leader at that time was allowed to bid either, and that's WHY they needed the rest of us to pitch in, even putting aside "more bids = greater chance".

This may be a silly question but are you trying to transfer to an FC lot as opposed to a player only lot?

If you purchased from a placard, your entire account is now flagged. Not just the character that purchased it. Doesn't matter if you are the FC Master. You will now be locked into only being able to purchase a ticket from that single character to relocate the FC. Everyone else in the FC can put in as many tickets as they like on as many alts as they like, but the original purchaser cannot.

I can see what SE is intending to do, discourage people from creating shell FCs to own more than 1 FC house on a given world. But it's also catching people who haven't done this whatsoever and preventing them from helping their current FC from moving plots.

Feels like they added this system on top of another one and it's clearly conflicting.

Try to enter the relocation on all of your alts, if you have any that are in that FC, until you land on the one the game might think is the "owner" of the FC plot. It's confusing, I know... like a previous answer said, your account is flagged and there seems to be multiple systems conflicting, but I'd also like to add that the FC leader is not necessarily the plot owner according to the system unless the leader was the one who won the bid.


From what I've seen, being in multiple FCs and doing a lot of confusing stuff with housing over time, it looks like the system may think whoever wins the bid is the owner of the house? If that player leaves, the house's ownership is taken away from them (thus, their account is no longer flagged and they can buy a new FC house if they want) and the ownership falls to the FC leader as default. You might have an alt in another FC for which you bought a house, or one of your alts in the FC you're trying to relocate might be the "owner" of your FC house lol. This stuff is ridiculous. Just try kicking your alts out of all FCs you're in temporarily and see if that fixes anything...


If you don't have any alts in that FC or at all, try to see if anyone in your FC can enter it for you. The more, the merrier. The system is designed to reward big FCs with lots of money, so if you can afford multiple entries, try to get as many people to enter as possible!

Housing system is so trash, so I don't care if some one try to hax around it, because its understandable.

Even if you can relocate, be prepared to fight with bots / RMT who have millions and plenty of alts.

I have two accounts, one has a FC house, and one has a personal house. My account with a personal house cannot make a bid.

I can make an FC bid on any of my alts on my personal house account.

I can make ANY bid on my FC account characters.

The personal will only interfere if you are attempting to relocate with both the Personal and the FC house at the same time. I'm the FC leader of my current FC and have a personal. I was able to bid on relocating last cycle without a problem and only ran into a problem this cycle cause I figured I'd also try to upgrade my personal as well since there are so many plots freed up.
