GM Feedback!

Every time I have an interaction with a GM, they always ask me to leave feedback on the forums... but there are so many different categories I never know where to put them! So I'm putting this one here for now

All the GMs I have spoken to have been very professional and courteous. Today's was (again, I believe) GM Ginooyawakapo. They're usually fairly prompt as well, though I've noticed they do seem to be running on a script that is copied and pasted into the chat with minor edits. (Not an issue, just an observation since sometimes the text is cut off or incomplete!)

If you try to provide support for even a short period of time, you quickly discover you are answering the same questions over and over again, to such an extent that you develop a script in your own head and re-write the exact same answer every time. At a certain point, you may as well just have an actual script that you copy+paste, optimize over time and then modify as needed. This saves valuable time, especially when there's multiple people to get through and optimizing it makes the answer better.

There's nothing actually wrong with a template as long as they have the authority to modify it if they feel the need to. And in my observation, the MMO companies that have used one when communicating with me have had a custom part of the message when it's needed so I just accept they didn't feel the need to normally.

Given I tend to be a bit of a Negative Nancy on here, I have to say all my interactions with GMs have been positive.

Generally, GMs are very professional and helpful when the issue is simple. I've found the bug reporting issue to be super annoying, though... they keep asking for the same information over and over again, even after I've given it to them or pointed them at where it can be found with links. Sometimes it feels like talking to a bot.

They're all polite and courteous, but that's where my positive feedback ends, because it's all lip service. Unless you're reporting excessive swearing or an inappropriate name. They will go after low-hanging fruit like that.

I sincerely hope you never get stalked or harassed in this game though. They won't lift a finger if the punishment would cost the company a single subscription. Had someone make jokes to both mine and my friends faces (IN-GAME so it's in the logs if they even have logs) after a friend of ours died, after they were stalked in this game for years. Guy never got banned or even warned. I've been stalked and harassed and griefed for years by someone else. Hundreds of reports. Literally provided video evidence. Tons of reports from friends that experienced the same behavior from them. Nothing done. Even had a GM claim they were going to "escalate" the issue. Lmao. They're still around running 3+ subscriptions at once just to stalk and harass. I guess their subs are worth more than mine and my friends. Maybe it's for the best this game is dying, they sure don't want to lift a finger to protect the playerbase that's left.

There's nothing positive about them. I never had any positive experience.

- Was stalked by someone for a good period, they didn't do anything despite all the evidence.
- Multiple people ruining pvp games on purpose by trolling, sitting afk or dancing on corpses, doing emotes and then whispering you in-game after a match --> never did anything.
- Reported people (including mentors) who are afk botting and farming stuff. With video evidence, explanation --> nothing happened.

So I don't bother anymore. But if you ever get stalked in this game you will feel real despair because those people will never get banned for stalking you. Unless like 20+ people report same person, nothing ever happens.

But someone accidentally says "idiot" in front of a train? ugh that's an instant ban for you.
