looking for ideas to decorate my empyrium small wooden house .

so i just won a lottery for small personal house in empyrium district .it is made of wood and i dont have any experience in housing before .so i was looking for some inspiration . my fc leader would probably craft me stuff so that thing is covered .

only thing that i am struggling is to find how to decorate it and with which stuff xD .so any ideas or a place where i can look up what i should be getting . any ideas appreciated :3

You can hire someone to decorate for you if you're struggling to come up with a design on your own. What kind of theme would you like? Start there.

Hello, congratulations on your win!!

Usually when I decorate spaces (my own, or friends, or people who hire me to do so) I first come up with a main theme.
A theme example would be; Eastern, Western, Modern, Cabin/Cottage, Victorian, Cyber'ish, Foresty, etc!
I usually do like a Foresty + Uldah inspired look. Sometimes looking at the major cities is also great for inspo too.

Also, a helpful tip is that there is actually a LOT of good stuff for super cheap available at the Housing Merchant!!
All other things should be crafted, since usually they sell on the marketboard for 3 times what it costs to make.

For inspo on housing decoration ideas, the tags #FF14Housing / #FFXIVHousing usually work great on social media sites like bsky, tumblr, or twitter.
There is also HousingSnap which is japanese, and HousingEden which is mostly in English.
FF14Housing is a site thats really good for looking at Housing Items when you're not in game, to see what's there or find the names, or where to get or make them.
And lastly, HGXIV is fantastic for guides and tips on how to do things as well.
