When was the last time you decorated your House?

Mine was today... I started working on it yesterday, and today I saw that my neighbor of 3 years FINALLY bothered to update a corner of his. If you don't, and assuming it's not because you don't own one, why?

I don't particularly like the new items, they're too cutesy... But I got to work with what we're given. Here's what I got so far: (The obnoxious red color is to piss off my Ward)







Owning a large house is hard, too much open space and only 40 slots to cover it.
It's a shame that the new Chocobo fountain doesn't have any lights, it's hard to appreciate at night. I first tried to combine it with the Bismark one, but I so needed the extra slot to fill the yard.

So yeah, why own a house if you don't decorate it?
Or if you do share yours I need fresh ideas to steal while I wait for 7.3.

I think about 2022. My fc moved a few months later and I haven’t found the motivation to bother again since so it’s pretty slapdash outside the cellar. Maybe if it’s still there after I come back from being unsubscribed.

Never, i got a M House in Shirogane and never bothered to decorate it tbh, the only reason i got it was because i wanted a big garden for my training dummys xD

I don't have any more outdoor space or storage space so redecorating would require too much shifting things in and out of inventories and finding other places to put things.

For the interior I'm waiting to see if they make it so my small house can be bigger on the inside, and then I'd redecorate.

I redesigned my garden around 4 times, with a long period of it being awkwardly empty after I changed out the exterior and didn't know what to do with the layout (previous layout could no longer be used, and I wanted to do something different anyways). The interior has been suffering the world's longest renovation ever, going for over a year now? It's never been finished, I keep moving stuff and changing my mind, and I just don't have enough slots for what I wanna do. Here's to hoping the LL in just a bit over an hour gives us something to work with!

Sadly there isn’t much ways to play around with only 20/20, and I prefer smaller yard for RP purposes.

I had several larges for multiple years and never finished decorating them because nobody visits, and I have to leave my world to do any content. I gave up my last large auto demo three days ago.

I fully decorated my house (M) just after Dawntrail's launch. I've messed around with it here and there since then, but until they finally give us some housing updates or I manage to win a Large, then it will stay that way.
