    Novice network trolls

Hello Gm's and Developers. We mentors have a tool to allow us to kick trolls from Novice Network for a period of time but this does not keep them out of the network. For example we have a reoccurring Troll who skirts the line in Novice network in Lamia on the daily. There needs to be a system that after getting kicked so many times by mentors it locks them out of novice network completely (And I'd argue so far as to lock them out of mentorship since crafting mentor is so easy to get). There's little we can do to prevent reoccurring trolls from coming in and affecting the space were new players are learning the game.

and before someone comments about mentors abusing power, that already can be reported in game and mentorship can be stripped. It records who kicks and for what reason when a mentor kicks someone.

Thank you for your time devs and gms

Idk, just report them? If they're "skirting the line" aka not doing anything reportable, then they seem to have as much of a right to be in NN as you. If what they're doing is so egregious that they need a kick, surely that's reportable, too?

The natural terminus of this philosophy of thinking is ending the Novice Network. Not a great solution. If someone is misbehaving and you kick them and report them then they will get in trouble. If they are not and you kick them and they report you, you get in trouble. I fail to see how this is a huge issue.
In the same vein if a mod deletes your topic, you're obviously in the wrong and need to submit to their authority.

You're so close to getting it. The point isn't about unquestioned submission to authority, it's about consistency and fairness. The NN works best when rules are enforced predictably. Advocating for transparency shouldn't be a controversial opinion

Your solution would get abused by ill intentioned groups immediately: if they know that kicking someone enough would eventually remove them permanently, you can be sure that some would try.

The only reasonable answer is to have GMs that actually give a damn about it when enough reports start piling up.

Or actually have the GMs themselves lurk in these NNs, that can also work.

I guess they’re more worried of the cost to hiring these GMs lul.

Yes, that's part of my point. The GMs on EU servers are completely unhinged (and have no idea about the game actual TOS to boot). I've also been dragged to mordion and got an account strike once for silently kicking a sprout visitor that was trying to flamebait the whole chat with nazi drivel. Reason invoked: "obstructing someone else's gameplay".
But on actual issues that GMs are expected to act upon, it's crickets.

I can see it now. One little joke about mayonnaise in NN and some mentor with a high horse will take that as "trolling" and kick them.
