Quest based leveling: Future problem?

Better yet, why not make a few amazing quests and 1000 trash quests?

why do I wanna do 1000 crappy quests!?! How fun is mindlessly going to npc to npc getting stupid items for them by killing x amount of things.

More fun than mindlessly killing the same mob all the way to cap. At least the quests promote exploration and movement.

If you don't like them, don't do them. Some people like doing these quests, why not give them the option to? I might not find it to be the most interesting thing to do, but it's a lot more fun than exp parties.

1000 Trash quests, 1000 leves, whats the difference? For all we know these quests could be leves.
