Cpu upgrade difference

I want to upgrade my cpu from an i7 10700k to an 9800x3d also ram from 32gb ddr4 to 64gb ddr5. I have the rtx 3070 TI. Currently i see from 50 fps on raids to 70-80 on open world. I want to upgrade the CPU because i also play other mmos but i want to know if i will see a differencei in fps and performance in ffxiv. Thank you! I play on 3440x1660.

Yes. It will make a big difference. Even if playing at high resolutions. With a 4080 even at 4K i'm CPU limited in the heavily populated areas.

The areas that will see a big boost are in heavily populated areas such as Limsa. Another area where you will see big gains is during hunt trains or S rank hunts especially the 7.0 hunts where there's usually a ton of players.
