    Macros and Abilities question

    So, I picked the game up yesterday, and within a couple hours ran into something that really pissed me off. Set up my macros for CON, and saw a pretty message; something along the lines of "You cannot use an ability unless it's on your quick bar." Seriously?

    I can understand where this comes from. Having access to all the abilities from all the classes you have leveled, but I can see a much better system to put in place. Give access to all the abilities for the current class you are using, and limit the amount of abilities from your other classes. Is that so hard?

    Kinda reminds me of Guild Wars with an ability cap... not a good thing.

    So, how many abilities are you able to set in the higher ranks? Let's go with 35+ as an arbitrary starting point.

    I cant see my action points while server down, but on my 50 con i have 4-5 empty slots.... cure and sacrifice are 2 points the avg is 3, some things cost 5 like pounce or war drum for reference. I have all my abilities /eaction (equip action) and i have extra macros for situational times i want different abilities on my 3rd bar, like being more healing focused, or solo or nukes etc

    Noooo, that would remove the tactics of class building. Macros for abilities should be left to skills with long recasts on the 2nd and 3rd bar, or for using multiple skills in a chain (the ones set on one of your three action bars of course.)

    at R50 you will have 55 action points to use.
