    Should daily roulette include all tomestones even before job at max level?

    Doesn't it feel odd that you can't get Tomestones of Heliometry or Mathematics
    on jobs that aren't lvl100 in duty roulette?

    I'm guessing this is to prevent you from getting those tomestones on your first time leveling to 100 and getting gear with them too soon.

    But when I'm leveling my 2nd or 3rd job it just feels like I'm unable to use a job I am leveling up to do the daily roulette, because I only get those tomestones if I'm at max level.

    So what ends up happening is that I use the daily roulette for tomestones, even leveling roulette with my lvl100job and mostly focus on dungeon spamming if I'm leveling.

    Or am I missing something?

    Maybe there could be a way to swap tomestones of poetics for either heliometry or mathematics in the duty finder menu. So you could choose do you want the 100 poetics from "high-level Dungeons", or swap it to let's say 50% of the Heliometry's you'd get if your job was max level. So if you do swap them, instead of getting 120 Heliometry you'd get 60 because your job is lvl95 or something.

    And this option would only be available if the player has atleast 1 job at lvl100.

    I have encountered this issue. I want to level a job but i don't want poetics, but i do want the current tomestones but they're only at maxlvl. Would be nice to either choose from a box or just give them all at once.


    My idea is: upon completion the Roulette gives a box. In this box i can choose between EXP, one of the tomestones or a dungeon gear coffer. This way everyone is happy to join in on the roulettes and choose what rewards they want in the moment.

    Happy to hear others have noticed it also.
    As for the idea it would probably be too much of a change for the devs to make where the rewards are now at the end of a dungeon and too much of a departure on what people are used to.
    Easier fix would probably be for the box to be on the duty roulette reward screen.

    This is not a dungeon reward, this is a roulette reward - it doesn't change anything about any dungeons. The gear box is universal slot - open it on the job you want to give you the item for the highest dungeon for that job in that slot. As for the tomestones: you just choose between the three, or just the roulette exp chunk.

    While it would definitely be nice, it doesn't feel odd to me at all. Tomestones of Heliometry and Mathematics are only used for Lvl 100 gear...why would I expect to get them for doing sub-100 content on sub-100 jobs?

    To me it's odd because I already have a lvl100job and all I'm doing is getting other jobs to 100 as well.
    I would understand it if for example your second job is at lvl20, it obviously wouldn't make much sense for you to get these tomes at that point. Even if you already have your main as lvl100.
    But even there it could be like 1 heliometry or mathematics per run at those lower levels, but not a necessity.

    At ~80-100 range it just feels bad to do like MSQ roulette just for XP on alt jobs.

    TBH, I often end up capped on math tome much faster than I intended on most weeks, but I can always use poetics for old relics, tho.

    I myself don't actualy do roulette outside of leveling, so it owuld be great to benefit a bit from that beyond just XP. Even a tiny bit.

    I noticed this being an issue cause I am doing end game crafting and I do need some heliometrys, but I would like to get them via using a job I am leveling. It feels like a waste.

    I think this misses the purpose of the roulettes - to fill queues for people trying to get through the dungeons and trials. If no one queued into - say - a trial roulette at level 100 (because why would you bother, if using a lower level job could give you the same tome reward), the level 100 trials would never fill. So it goes with normal raids, alliance raids, and even leveling (you may need people to fill the level 99 dungeon). The tome incentive is there to get people at level 100 queuing in.

    The roulettes you could possibly make this argument for are the MSQ roulette, since that content is all level 50 regardless, and the high level dungeon roulette, since that would cap out at 90. But I don't think SE will change them, because the way they see it, the system is working fine and there's no need to change it.

    I did mention that at a lower level it reward would be 50% less of those tomestones. So you would have to run Alliance Raid twice at lvl95 for example to get the same ammount, which I think is and ok compromise.
    Sure there would still be players who would opt into doing the lvl95 ones.

    Ultimately though I do think the devs have thought about doing something like this, but they prooobably found a similar issue to what you described and ended up not implementing it.
    Atleast that's like my ultra positive view on it.
