Blacklist needs to change

I know it's been said before but I'll say it again. Blacklist in this game needs major improvement. I'm creating this thread because I haven't seen any Black List issue threads circulating and wanted to bring fresh eyes to it.

1. No one should have to wait for the character to come online to block them.
2. Blocks should be account wide. Any character on that list needs to be included in that block.
3. Making a new character should not require the person to have to add the blocked character AGAIN.
4. You should be able to block people from your friend's list and have it remove them.
5. Blocking characters in game should also block them on the lodestone and vice versa.

Generally speaking the whole Friend's List needs to be seriously revamped, but that's another issue entirely.

1. I think you can blacklist via the lodestone now instead? Which would allow you to do it while they are offline.
2. The blacklist is account-wide as of 7.0.
3. You don't have to re-add their alt character, since it's account-wide. Unless, of course, the new character is on a brand new account.
4. I agree that blacklisting people should remove them from yours/their friends list. Seems like a good idea.
5. Blocking characters in the game does block them on the lodestone to my understanding.

The friends list needs a revamp, yes. It's on their to-do list, but obviously doesn't seem like their urgent list.

what they need to do is fix their dt blacklist 'fix' and stop sending account identifying information to clients. these devs directly enable stalking and harassment and their 'attempt' at in-house obfuscation clearly shows they don't take the problem or player privacy seriously at all.
