    "Unlocks" Game changers

    Hello! I want to give Devs and Yoshi P some ideas in something unique and explain the best I can with some examples of my explanation.
    I know many gamers want to try raiding or try something new and having some investment in our characters.

    I want to see if possible if we can a use of old content and unlocking new abilities that give us game changers.

    For example, Palace of the dead. "PoTD" Clearing the deep dungeon we get mounts and a title, but I want something beyond that. Unlock a new ability to reraise anywhere at any time and have a limit of 2 reraises and a long cool down of 2 or 3 hours to reuse it. That way healers or any caster that can raise don't feel useless.

    Another example is Heaven on high deep dungeons unlocking another ability with a large cool down that can reset all cool downs that are long or give us a fully charge 1 LB line and that cool down can be once every 24 hours. Remember guys this is just an "idea"


    I have a ton of things I have been holding off and I just want to share my ideas with the devs and Yoshi P and the gamers. The reason I don's post much because of too many negativities by others who think they know better than you.

    I have been a veteran since 1.0 and FF11 Veteran since the PS2 launch. I also experience older MMOs like Ultima Online, Dark age of Camelot, EQ, rune scape and World of Warcraft. But my favorite has always been FF11.

    I'm mostly on FF11 forums very rarely here but last time I suggested I was bombarded by negative vibe so I deleted the post and just gave up suggesting.

    And before people complain that I want the game easier, no that's not the point, but to bring in hard content.

    I'm so down for that but don't cheat if you want harder content, because that defeats the purpose of harder challenging content.


    I have a ton to share but for now I'm giving just some of ideas and the best I can explain.

    There is another thing I would like for Ultimate weapons having more purpose in newer content, not to just look pretty but unlocking a new Weapon skill a 4th step combo added instead of 3 step combo and has some perks for having it, Same for the mages and healers a new magic ability or cure that has some perks. Maybe some minus Damage taken or more cure potency or DoT and yes you can replace your new weapon skill and spells for other weapon skills and spells you have unlocked by having that ultimate weapon and of course some may help more in different types of raids. It gives us more variety in jobs classes as well.

    Well anyways, I hope to share more of my experience with MMO's and suggest more ideas that may interest the gamers to try out endgame content and for me If I had more of that it will encourage me back into raiding again.

    I stop raiding on Endwalker since I felt like I was wasting my time with gearing and mounts, titles and glam just don't give me a purpose to raid, it gave me a hollow feeling.

    As rad as some of those skill ideas are, the inevitable result would be having some of those skills become a requirement to do some such other content.

    "Can't join our static if you don't have PotD raise" even though it's a wholly different skillset to beat PotD than it is to beat a savage raid.

    That's actually why most of the rewards in the most difficult content is purely cosmetic. It's much healthier for the game and community to do that.

    Here\\'s the translation into American English:

    Just like you, I have a lot of ideas about what developers could do with the game, but the things that stand out the most in my mind are the following:

    1. **Random mechanics.** Every battle should be like Variant Dungeons, but with mechanics that change however they please—more independent, like a puzzle that always has a solution.
    2. **Housing:** They should make houses more interactive, not just for placing furniture and checking the FC Chest, wardrobe, or Bells. Since forever, owning a house has been the true endgame—at the very least, it should function as storage like FFXI\\'s houses. I know this is a bit tricky because if they allow it, players won’t buy extra retainers or Chocobo Bags, but they could at least consider a storage limit.
    3.For the love of the Twelve! Let us send items to our alternate characters. If the concern is the Gil market, just restrict it to items only—no currency. This would be a huge help.


    4. Last but not least, hairstyles. We need more hairstyles—not the same short cuts they always give us. It’s frustrating to see how some sites (you know the ones I’m talking about) manage to use different styles regardless of clipping issues. Let’s be real, a lot of the official hairstyles already have this problem, and players still buy and use them anyway.*

    Not everything has to be short hair—they should add more long hairstyles like Lady Ice’s, wavy styles, some that reach the waist, long braids, different kinds of afros… more options please

    Yeah, I can understand that, but it encourages people to try older content. You can see it in 2 ways as encouragement or discouragement of course is not necessarily needed but it can help in practice raids or getting close to beating the savage raid. people save those abilities as a last resort.

    I like the idea of having an FC house or private house buffing your characters. Like FF11 Mog enhancements of having items in your Mog house that invest into your character and yes of course storage.
    As for Hairstyles I agree, maybe include beards for all men and different types of beards for them, same with Hrothgar having their own beards like viking looking beards etc etc that may also look good on other races.

    Reraising anywhere at any time is a very powerful ability and you aren't going to get that for clearing soloable content. It would fundamentally change other portions of the game. So you want some ability that makes you a god, but they aren't going to do that. I can't think of any MMO that would do that to be honest. Most MMO's only give you a title, pets, mounts, etc for harder solo content so FFXIV is pretty much even in this regards.

    I think the lack of storage in housing is one of my biggest peeves coming from LOTRO, ESO, and other games that have it even if it means just buying an item that acts as a vault or chest. And yes, sending items to alts would be nice if you have them rather than having to use the MB for the transaction.

    But people already specifically play Summoner and Red Mage exclusively for their raises in prog. Both jobs are balanced around the fact they have valuable support.

    If we gave that stuff to Warrior, an already sustain and support overloaded tank, it could kill all other jobs. It's already notoriously hard to kill a competent Warrior in most content.

    As for housing buffs; those exist already.

    The reraise has its limits of course and has a long cool down. If you use it that's it. People have to raise you, but this why I call those abilities game changers, since I notice people cheat and not a lot do cheat but, it's an idea to create unlocks and helps the gamer out and of course my history with MMOs like FF11 has reraise. There many MMOs that do not give your minions and mounts but game changing gears and unlocks of new weapon skills and spells. FF11 is rich for that.

    Like I mention the reraise will have to have a long cool down, people can use it or save it, once you used the cool down will take hours to return. Game changers are not for 1 specific job or enhance their job class, it is to help like a training wheel for a new raider, or it can help others in a simple mistake. right now the jobs lack diversity and feel pretty much the same when you play them. (this is just my opinion on playing all the jobs)
    And for housing buffs, I'm not talking about the food or the FC buffs, I need to specify what I mean is the enhancements of stats, STR,DEX,VIT etc etc or EXP boost aside from the FC buffs or food, Furniture in FF11 gave us stat boost enhancing our stats or boost exp or longer duration of food and even increase drop rates on killing certain monsters.

    mind you these buffs are all at the same time. Not just a couple of buffs or food buffs.
