There's an incentive for mentors to participate in specific mentor roulettes as a way to earn mentor achievements. Aside from that, doing roulettes is a way to help others by filling needed positions on many contents.
It's quite enjoyable showing sprouts the good side of our community.
I'm just doing them to get my Historia accessories and leveling gear for all my jobs, just to have them when I'm ready to level them. And of course, relic weapons. And... going for mentor...
And... finishing off the rest of my role quests (only got melee left, working on DRG currently) Not to mention working OC for the lvl 100 gear.
...I have no life =(q.q)=
Until theres glam worth it. No point really. I leveled all my jobs mainly with fates and pvp
I don't. At least not anymore.
Dawntrail kinda spoiled my fun. Healing is worse than ever was. Caster DPS not named Pictomancer was shafted hard. Tanks is now more OP than they ever was. And Wuk Lamat interfering in a trial was the icing of the cake, that was already quite bad.
That way, I spend 5 minutes on this game. Just take care of my plants, take care of my retainer duo, issue orders for my squadron, get some mgp on mini cactpot and log off.
I just do one expert a week for the tails book.
I do Trial, Normal, and Alliance roulette every day, usually do Frontline but taking a break from that until the next series. I usually queue for Alliance rou several times a night (whenever it's adventurer-in-need for DPS) and I usually get a good variety of raids, and almost always at least one new person for my second chance point addiction. Lots of Nier raids lately, which is to be expected given the mogtome event, but it's rarely just CT raids. They're a brainless activity but I enjoy people watching and rezzing all the battle mentor legends who fail to dodge basic mechanics.
I only do dungeon roulettes if my friends need someone.

its the only thing that pops usually
Some people enjoy being synced down to level 12 and having a mind numbing experience.
For everyone else, well, there's always ERP.
