As a casually skilled player who plays erratic hours.
A) Capping tomestones. Hunts just aren't always available, especially thanks to cross world parties obliterating multiple worlds/DCs.
B) Bonus gil. If it's Healer or DPS in need, that's a nice chunk of change.
C) Relics. Both Manderville (Poetics, 3.25 to go) and Phantom (Heliometry).
I won't say they're fun most of the time, but being a healer who hates the meta of "the last HP is the that counts" I get plenty of time in random queues to give people some heals at 70-80%.
But then again, I only run "Expert" (hah), Alliance Raid, Normal Raid, and MSQ. Level Cap dungeons should just be merged back into Expert and High Level doesn't give top tier tomestones so meh. Leveling, bleh. And Trials, at max level, generally feel like a poor time spent/effort to reward ratio at max level![]()
