Why does the Moogle Treasure Trove event give you incompletable weekly challenges?

Basically what it says in the title, my weekly challenge for this week is to participate in the dead game mode that is Rival Wings Hidden Gorge. I spent two hours queuing on Tuesday, three hours Wednesday and I am currently in another hour long queue now on Primal NA (all at different times of the day too).

Why and how is this fair to give some players weekly challenges that relies on other people queueing for a game mode that no one does?

The PVP servers / groups are useless, the only advice they have is to "Just wait in the queue lol" or "Pay for a world change to EU" when I unfortunately do not have endless hours in which I can sit at a desk for a game of PVP that's obviously not happening?

I swear this happens to me every event. They either need to retire this game mode from the Moogle Treasure Trove challenges, so the rewards are not unfairly rigged against certain players, or add a Roulette for it. It is genuinely so frustrating to want to play this game and this event and not being able to get the same rewards everyone else can easily get because of this flawed system!

I'm genuinely confused how you're having issues getting RW matches on Primal; Are you queueing during morning hours? I've been in maybe ~20 RW matches in the last two weeks and haven't had to wait more than a couple of minutes for any of them until it got really late (~3 AM EST)

EDIT: Ah yeah, you're queueing during dead hours. It doesn't help that RW isn't in a roulette, but even queueing specific content like alliance raids can take hours to pop if you queue when everyone's sleeping/at work/whatever. Saying "no one does" RW is silly though

My level 50 char got a level 90 raid, a level 60 delivery, and some blue mage stuff. The latter being the only thing he could do on this level (albeit his Blue Mage sitting on level 1, so the 10 mogtomes are not worth bothering anyway).
It don't think it's rocket science to hand out quests that match a character's level. It's just SE being lazy, and not giving an eff whether you can do this stuff or not.

Seriously I'm usually ok on it but this time My Ulti Mog challenge... it's something in Dawntrail! Aside from getting on to do daily FC house stuff and keep it runnin i haven't played since i got to Post Endwalker in January. I'm knocking out my backlog finally on ps4. But ya anyway i can't even DO the Ultimog.... >.<

Not sure this will post, but this is what it looks like for a character who hasn't finished MSQ at all.

Okay, yeah, what the fuck? That is... silly. My weeklies have been Dzemael Darkhold (garbage but doable), P9 (lv 90 gated) and Copied Factory (Lv 80 gated). I had assumed mogtome event duties scale according to your progression like Khloe does, but I guess not???

They never did. People keep complaining, and SE keeps ignoring the complaints.

Personally I think the duties should at least be scaled to your level. So when you're 90, a 90 raid duty would be ok for me - even if I haven't opened access to that particular raid yet.
But a level 90 duty for a level 50 char? That's just dumb. Or lazy. Or most probably both.

And to add insult to injury: my main char who has access to most parts of the game - always gets Dzemael or Cutter's Cry. The level 90 duties seem to be reserved for my chars that cannot possibly do them :/

What's even more silly is that there's a good chance highlevel characters don't need the rewards. I have everything save the mogtomes exclusive on my high level characters but could use the rewards on some newer characters that have no yet reached lvl 80 (it seems to be EW normal raids and Shadowbringers' alliance raids this time). I couldn't care less about an earring that is barely visible in game and just uses space in my dressing.

I also dislike the fact that you can't even know which raid it is in the series (i.e. the first one, the 5th, the 12th?). It happened with a past mogtome event where the Omega raids were the normal raids used to mogtome: my character had just reached the point where I could unlock them but there was no way to know how far in the series it was as it can take a while to do them all due to having to wait in queue and I wasn't at a level where I could solo. I can't do them all in a week due to RL.

In case I even bother (like a level 90 char gets a level 90 raid duty they haven't unlocked yet) I google the quest name the game shows in the moogle dialog. This way I get an idea if it's worth it (char is at step 2, duty is 3) or not (char is at step 1, duty is 12).
