I do miss hard variants of dungeons, they were nice and simple.
Though, I'd say I've done the least amount of content in this expansion compared to the others.
Right so your list is ignoring a few things. We are also getting a new Alliance Raid, and while other things will be added later they are still technically part of the 7.2 development cycle regardless of how it is being drip fed, which is a different issue altogether. I am personally against the drip feeding and wish SE would stop it. I really don't know why they went with it since the rest of the content, as stated earlier, is developed as part of the 7.2 patch. So 7.2 content would also include: New Deep Dungeon, New Society Quests, New Hildibrand, New Cosmic exploration, the next relic step, speech bubbles, and possible housing changes that they noted would be discussed in the next live letter for 7.2.Now lets compare how much content we got.
2.2 :New Content
Main Story: Through the Maelstrom (19 quests, later reduced to 14 in patch 5.3)
Side Story: Hildibrand, Agent of Enquiry Chapter 2 (4 quests)
Dungeons: *The Lost City of Amdapor, *Halatali (Hard), *Brayflox's Longstop (Hard)
Trials: *The Whorleater (Hard), *The Whorleater (Extreme), *Thornmarch (Extreme), *Battle on the Big Bridge
Raid Series: *The Second Coil of Bahamut
Beast Tribe Quests and Reputation: Sahagin and Kobolds
Zodiac Weapons third and fourth part added
**Cast Glamour: Allows the player to transform the appearance of his or her gear to match that of other gear, with some restrictions.
Housing: Gardening added
Retainer Ventures added
*Duty Roulette: Expert and *Duty Roulette: Trials added
Challenge Log added
Big Fishing added
The visual appearance of the Goblet residential area has been redesigned.
7,2 New Content
Patch 7.2
Main Story: Seekers of Eternity (8 quests)
Raid Series: *AAC Cruiserweight Tier,
Savage will release one week after normal
Side Story: Additional Cornservant Quest: When Death Comes to Dinner
Dungeon: *The Underkeep
Trials: *Recollection, *Recollection (Extreme)
Faux Hollows: *Hells' Kier (Unreal)
Notice how much shorter the list is? And please understand this comparison is just 2.2 vs 7.2
Everything that came after is not included. So Occult Crescent in 7.25 is not part of this.
Neither is the fact that 2.2 added ps4 support and another relic step during its cycle cause they did not do it at release.
Relics also started right away in 2.0 that's why 2.2 is already 3rd and 4th step ( and later 5th even) Meanwhile Dawntrail relic only starts in 7.25
As a matter of fact. Yes i said i was ignoring things. I compared 2.2 Release to 7.2 Release.
Just these Patches as they released.
Anything that came in later " extra patches " like 2.2x and 7.2x were ignoreed.
2.2 also drip fed other stuff.
I'm not reading any of that.
I'm still waiting for the fracking extra glam plates we were promised BEFORE Dawntrail dropped! I had to dump some casual sets to make room for 7 lvl 100 body pieces in my armory the other day, so when i come back to the game after knockign out my PS4 backlog i can actually level! How hard is it to shrink the glam plate editor a bit and add another row of ten plates under the first two??? And when can we change the insides of our houses? I don't mean what's there now (like making it look like a different city's inside or blank white walls w/o columns), I mean making the inside of a cottage have a MANSION interior.... or vice versa for some odd reason if you wanted to.

Same. I do Extremes, and I’d say that’s about the height of what my brain can process. lol I’ve enjoyed blind progs of Savage, but like you say all the study and prep work and having to perform absolutely perfectly just isn’t what I consider fun, so I do most Savages unsynced well after they’re current. I much prefer things where it’s a little challenging, but you can usually learn it quickly enough to get through in an evening.I absolutely disagree. I do not want to prepare for a fight by memorizing 32 different boss spells and the exact meaning where to run when the boss casts spell 18. This is a game, not a Latin school exam. I'm all for challenging fights, but decyphering crude boss emotes in real time is not challenging - it's annoying. That's why I don't bother with anything in this game beyond the MSQ.
totally agree with Gwen's quote.... prolly why i normally don't even BOTHER with anything harder than savages and most of the time (I'm behind on msq anyway) other FC people and maybe some randoms unsync it anyway.
Also i don't study and do prep work for a dang game.... I die i just ask what happened (cause 99% of the time i didn't see wth happened rofl). People tend to explain, you learn what to look out for, you learn it (There HAVE been a few times i'd watch a vid by MSQCapture on youtube REALLY fast in the middle of a run when we all wipe lol)... but ya it's annoying the random indicators you've NEVER SEEN BEFORE or some crap and u don't know what the boss just did sometimes... lol
