That is a stupid comparison.
Was housing advertised as a luxury commodity from the start of its implementation or was the demolition timer just latched on because they couldnt/didnt want / were talent hamstringed to not give more housing wards / houses?
Ironically, people who are getting this achievement and the title right now did not grind for them as SE expected. Instead, they purchased enough fortune carrots on the marketboard to skip the entire step. Out of all the titles one can get in Occult Crescent, this one is the one that seems the hardest to get, but it's probably the easiest one.

a carrot sell for 2m minimum so people will obviously sell it and the carrot give meh reward at best. so it is only worth that much for the title aloneIronically, people who are getting this achievement and the title right now did not grind them as SE would expect. its not really a stupid comparison. its true. the moment you buy a house you know you gonna lose it as soon as you dont play for a certain amount of days for whatever reason. thats the risk everyone takes the moment they buy a house.
and it doesnt have anything to do with giving feedback. its a terrible system so we should keep giving feedback about that that.
but people take it as the single reason they cant stop playing even though thats the risk they knowingly took
where im not sure though is why some random player has to announce they're back xD

I don't know why but when i read tha tlast part i got vegeta from dragon abll abridged when he lands back on earth "IM BACK BITCHES" screaming in my headits not really a stupid comparison. its true. the moment you buy a house you know you gonna lose it as soon as you dont play for a certain amount of days for whatever reason. thats the risk everyone takes the moment they buy a house.

I mean, there's also this line here:
Personally after reading that part, that's when I thought about cooking up a bowl of popcorn and take a comfy seat lol.[...]I know people like to shit on this game but[...]
To be fair, when you make the statement "If you actually complete all the things that they implement", you do a pretty solid job of implying that achievements will be very closely tied in with it. Even if you don't explicitly state achievements.
Much of the 'hundreds of hours' of content has largely been rendered moot, when they've devalued their own content as spectacularly as what they have in this game, and I don't mean to be funny but if we're abiding by this sentiment then frankly you're just far better playing a game that actually respects that effort of thousands of hours.
I don't have a house, nor have I ever had any interest in wanting one. I'm free to "take a break" with no real drawbacks whenever I want (plenty of catch-up mechanics for when I return). Think about how the hundreds of thousands of active players, and think what % actually have a house...yeah, only a relative handful are really affected by this.
I have plenty to do. I played on and off from around 2015-2021, then this game as my main MMO from 2021-2025, and when I took my first break in several years a few months ago, it wasn't because of a lack of things to do - I had just been playing a lot for a long time and felt like doing something else for a bit. I came back with the new Moogle event and still have plenty to do.It's the necessity of having to take them because there is so little to do.
Imagine being unable to comprehend or accept that other people might like different things than you (gasp!). And there's tons of achievements that aren't the minuscule few outliers involving inordinate numbers of things. From time-to-time, I just open up the "nearing completion" tab and there's always a variety of things within easy completion distance.Imagine thinking of achievements as good content and blaming people for not wanting to catch a fish 5000 times
