I could go on and point out so many issues, but the real issue is that Square doesn't invest on the only title that is constantly giving them the most. Its time, players are tired, no more excuses or apologies. DO THE WORK AND DELIVER
My personal complain? :
The whole world restrictions are bullshit, I'm tired of it. I don't wanna hear excuses. I wanna be in another world and use my retainer as well as join an FC from that world.
I understand if these restrictions apply when ur in a different data center. BUT not when I'm in my home data center, lift/ fix these restrictions, they are just useless and make the game worse.

I think it depends what you mean by retainer. If you mean inventory, obviously they carry other inventories to other worlds so that part should be possible. But retiners also sell on the market board, which is world restricted so my guess is that's the issue. I think that they could make market boards cross world despite that they disagree, but the issue then becomes how it will further wreck markets and make more items sell for 1 gil on more worlds.

I think there isn't much reason for an FC to not be crossworld except that they are connected to the housing system, which is not crossworld. But the housing system needs remaking from the ground up anyway.

Yeah, I mean the inventory, sure, the retainers can continue to only sell on their respective worlds if its going to wreck the market across all worlds. FCs not being crossword is just obsolete content, there is no incentive joining an FC anymore, is pointless. And yes the housing systems is a clown fiesta.............
Class balance is kind of ass right now too, I feel like jobs have lost their identity. Ultimates is the best content that we have ingame (subjective I know) but it should a priority to upscale those fights to current content like they have done with UNREAL trials. (why haven't they added the old ultimate weapons to newer jobs) like how much do we have to complain to for us to get some back???
I love this game yo, I do but is time to bring change, take risks keep the identity of each class. Not all of them have to be accessible, let the people get good and work hard for something that they want to master like a true gamer................

Judging by how their Community Finder website is setup, they seem to intend CWLS to be like cross-world FCs.

They have and they acknowledged it but for some reason they think it would be too much for us to handle when they have also been changing the battle design to not be like Endwalker.

Ultimates is the best content that we have ingame (subjective I know) but it should a priority to upscale those fights to current content like they have done with UNREAL trials.

The issue is they'd have to do it every expansion. Unreal already seems to involve lots of testing to make sure the new scaling is right. Testing ultimates seems way harder for them as well. They would probably be spending ages in there using invincibility to get to phases and this workload would increase every expansion due to the increased amounts of Ultimates.

It's the same reason as everything. They don't focus on anything other than the new patch content, usually. This prevents old features becoming an increasing burden patch-upon-patch as more features are added.

They recently said that even if they doubled their developers, they don't think their output would necessarily increase. I don't know if they are right, but that is their perspective.

I mean they can all be accessible. They can just give a choice between a simple mode and a challenging mode. Most MMORPGs do that through skill trees of some variety. They can just make the defaults simple and allow you to add more complex mechanics to it that come at certain costs.
