Will you play FF XIV Mobile?

To be honest, I’m struggling to find any benefit of playing what’s essentially a New Game + on a smaller screen. Are there any benefits that would transfer to XIV once you complete an activity in Mobile? I mean, I clear an extreme trial in Mobile, I get a unique hairstyle in XIV?

if you don't pay a sub honestly yes I will be I heard it is rather good for mobile and they also have its own server I think otherwise 8.0 will kill job even morex)

If anything FFXIV mobile is better than FFXIV on PC and consoles at this point but I am not that interested as I dont play mobile games

When I play, I want a big screen, brilliant sound, a mouse and a keyboard.
Therefore I don't play mobile games, no matter how good they are (in case there are any good ones out there).

When it launches in the rest of the world, there isn't going to be any reason to recommend the main version over the mobile version, except it not covering the expansions yet.

As far as I know, they haven’t said there’s going to be any connection between the two like that. SE essentially licensed the assets, but they’re not running the mobile version of the game.

They’ve already got some nice custom glams and hair that we don’t have, but I don’t know if we’ll ever see any of that in the main game. I guess it all depends on who owns what assets and what the contract allows for.

I personally don't like it very much. I know people are fawning over I guess some QoL or hairstyle options that I don't care much about atm.

Your concept of doing something in mobile translating to getting things in the main game I think would maybe* make me play it.

Theres no appeal in a XIV lite with mobile monetization for me. Especially when i could emulate 5th and 6th gen games.
