Remember, everything to SE is profit. Therefore, minimal effort at all times by employing a skeleton crew. Which means zero time to make anything more complex than a tiny earring, otherwise we will not even get half baked content such as occult crescent.First and foremost, I'm really sick and tired of the exclusive being an earring - the least visible glam.
Second, who is this for? You would expect it to be for endgame players waiting for the new patch - something to hold players over during the content drought, but it seems to instead always be for sprouts. I'm not sue I understand why this is, as sprouts are much less effected by content droughts.
The only rewards ever really worth anything are the MGP cards and maps.
Am I crazy or wrong? What does everyone else think?
First time?
100% agree that the reward being a novelty earring every time is lazy and formulaic but I guess that's what we should expect from Creatively Bankrupt Unit 3 at this point.First and foremost, I'm really sick and tired of the exclusive being an earring - the least visible glam.

As for who the event is for - new players. They're "catch up on stuff that other people already have" events.
IMO it's a garbage-tier event for two reasons:
1) It massively devalues rewards for content by making it ridiculously easy to get without engaging with the content.
2) The game already struggles to give players enough to do, so adding a recurring event that makes content irrelevant is stupid.

TBH, most of the rewards are super ancient tho from approx StB or like earlier, even that I feel like 9/10 anyone who started later already owned. I see it attracting the trial players since they can now get items from ShB and later just by doing GS for tomes over several weeks.100% agree that the reward being a novelty earring every time is lazy and formulaic but I guess that's what we should expect from Creatively Bankrupt Unit 3 at this point.

I like it. Makes rw pop. The role action is really fun
Good point actually - these events do seem to result in content that doesn't usually 'pop' reappearing. Queued a Alliance Raid roulette last night and had Aglaia pop - was pleasantly surprised as hadn't played it for ages and pretty much always get Crystal Tower when queue Alliance Raid roulettes.
