First and foremost, I'm really sick and tired of the exclusive being an earring - the least visible glam.

Second, who is this for? You would expect it to be for endgame players waiting for the new patch - something to hold players over during the content drought, but it seems to instead always be for sprouts. I'm not sue I understand why this is, as sprouts are much less effected by content droughts.

The only rewards ever really worth anything are the MGP cards and maps.

Am I crazy or wrong? What does everyone else think?

It's an easy way to get the gwiber mounts I suppose for myself, but yea, pretty much pointless except for maps

Agree with what you say about the 'Exclusive' item, although I guess earings are the one accessory that isn't usually overwritten by other glams. Rings, for example, tend to disappear when you use certain gloves and necklaces when you use certain glams that have a high collar.

As for the rest... well, personally speaking, there are quite a few items I intend to pick up this time around.

I'm just using this to farm for if they ever add gear i need to farm it for an excuse to work on my tank achievements, or i just farm it fo rhte maps for whenever my FC decides to do maps. That way its portals all teh time and chance of getting end of dungeon rewards.

I also don't understand why there are mainly just earrings. I can understand that it's just a transitional event for the next main patch and mainly for new players. However, we have more slots than just earrings. Why not offer a whole set instead of selling it in the online store? Why not a nice Mog Mog hairstyle? There are soooo many ideas, except for just earrings. There isn't even an option for wearing different earrings on the left and right sides. That's the icing on the cake...

It's obviously not aimed at the minority of players like myself that did all the content when it was current and got its rewards.

It's obviously aimed at considerably more newer, casual or returning players that missed various content and it gives them a way to catch up while waiting for the patch.

It is just so scattered for rewards.Random gwib or neo ishgardian sets. They could do better. If they hadn't been so greedy past seasonal events could be at these moogles.


They could also discuss what is very low clear content and add that. There are the PvP sets from seasons. Emotes and mounts locked behind old closed off content. Reskin of exclusive content, the game has a carbuncle mount telling me they couldn't add one for mogtomes in brown or some other colour. Or a level 1 glamour of some weapon set that would take forever to farm.

TBH, I feel like no one runs V&C or Hidden Gorge at all, even on Aether, so it does encourage others to run them for newcomers.

They'd never do an event item from a cash shop since it would mean they'd lose out on any potential sales, since cash shop items only exist for it.

This thread comes up every single time. It's for players who don't have the things listed. Someone may not have done Eureka. There are rewards from there. Someone may not have done Ishgard Restoration. There are rewards from there. Someone may not have finished all their mount farming. There are rewards from there. Someone may not have done all the societies and gotten the mounts. There are rewards from there. Someone might be missing a Triple Triad card here and there so they can get it this way instead. Endgame people can be in all those categories depending on when they started and whether they do things like just raidlog. And there are alts. Sometimes people have things on their main but get things this way on their alts.

It's a temporary way to get things we can already get in game minus the one earring glam item. They had a jacket glam item at one point but I believe that was a special anniversary or some other significant event so it was different.
