I don't think they forgot. Trust exp is typically boosted at the end of an expansion:

    5.58 for Shadowbringers: https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes...e8849372cb139e
    6.58 for Endwalker: https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes...67160ef629d31/

Likely SE intends it to be a grind to keep players busy between patches.
Personally I think needing to level Trusts at all is unnecessary and they could have just had the outfits be unlocks for running X amount of dungeons with each Trust.

Admittedly there was only one expect with 5.08 patch but that was it.https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes...c8cee52472b81a

But ya, I tried eariler but man, it was really man especially with the first dungeon, Ihuykatumu, which had that slow boat section at first and was 8 minutes to get to the first boss.

It's really not that bad. The reward's pointless, I did them for roleplaying purposes, the Scions being equal to my level, and got a bunch of minions for free, and greens to turn in for seals and FC points. ShB -> DT took less than two weeks.

It's super boring, but it's really not that bad of a grind.

It's not that bad, but it's pointless now with the Duty Support system and it's only really worth doing if you're completely out of things to do in the game, and there's plenty of other things to do in the game worth your time more usually (new relic?)

Yea, it's pointless. I did it for the same reason I did FATEs. Something to do, inbetween deep dungeons solo, while waiting for OC. And seeing how that turned out, I'm probably going to be ignoring the relic this time around. *shrug*. It's alot easier than the FATEs grind though.
