i am once again asking SE and Development Team of FFXIV and CBU3 to please give us players not "groups" a fair and equal housing system for solo individuals to be able to purchase or be given a plot or mass of land to construct their own private house on an can be kept by only that person,
no i am not asking you to delete anything in return for it its fine to keep the legacy ward/district system for those who still want that but it becoming unsustainable an is a constant point of contention for current existing players.

players want their own slice of heaven an homestead to live in, take photo shots, and share with friends to visit them in this place should ofc include the usual amenities a place to plot a garden, a chocobo stable, etc you could even incorporate a market board system in this private space or even like a terminal that can be accessed thru a menu or some such.
and for love of eitherys.. give players the option to build/own any size of house that will satisfy everyone an reduce the contention an stress the current system employs upon users and the servers themselves.

bottom line let people keep their current plots if they want too but let us choose to have another option as well one that is personal to ourselves an no one else an doesn't require scarcity and heavy limitations.
respect your players we are paying customers not free to play beggars or living rent free. this will show a ton of good will with the playerbase/fanbase by giving them all a permanent home to call their own and decorate with the seasons or on whims etc.

they would still make money of it though they keep shoving seasonal stuff at us galore an those digital music orchestrions if they give people a reason to decorate an stay subbed they will but i know they tend to not have a good track record of these things but i'll remain pessimistic until they cave to our demands and deliver what we have been asking for literal years now i think they kinda have too now if their profit margins are any indication lmao

I've been saying they should have allowed us to build any size plot of housing on our Island Sanctuaries. I also wouldn't be against the idea of this particular plot of housing be more expensive than the plots in the wards since it would be permanent.

problem with that is the npcs in the "cozy cabin" i dont think they would want to change that when it would be easier to just pick a random spot on the island an slap a house plot on it an call it a day.

glad for the positive re-inforcement thus far obtaining our own homedtead should be our greatest reward if the grand companies and the eastern trade city can re-purpose unused land for outsiders or travelers to make camp or base on then so can we! i am sure some place out there on this great sphere of Eitherys is farmland being un-used or some abandoned villages left rotting that could use a spruce up or breath of new life etc. or maybe those crazy loporitts have finally finished the lodging area they promised we'd have!

Yeah I wouldn’t want to have to put the house exactly where the cabin is… get me as far from the mammets as possible!

Would also be neat if you could choose the environment for your plot from among the island’s zones. Not the actual location but different themes, like Bending Beaches, Wild Woods or Mossy Mountains. All those areas you send your granary mammets to.

i'll do ya one even better! they should give us an artificial dome just like in Labrynthos! which lets us change weather an the sky scape background then people could switch which back drop they want wether it be a desert, an ocean, a forest , a jungle or fantasy land similar to il mheg and lakeland then this dome could allow for that option an give user's creative freedom or just inspirations to create unique environments

an the perfect way they could introduce the quest is to like have a sharlayan construction or architect offer us a prototype model saying that Labrynthos was such a success that the forums decided to utilize it globally an needs volunteers to test the prototype system so they can expand it to all corners of Eitherys
