How to rank my rank within my FC?

Oops, sorry about the typo in the title.

How do I go about raising my rank in my Free Company? I've done a huge amount of crafting for our company submersible (completed four entire stages on my own), and yet there is no way to tell if I'm making any progress, other than the fact that my rank hasn't increased.

Is there something I'm missing? I really would like to have better access to the Company Chest to deposit things.

Free Company ranks are created and assigned by the owner of the Free Company. You'll need to talk to your FC leader about having your rank increased.
