Marking players

Would it be OK to have an option to turn off the ability to have other players mark you in a match?
If you see two players passing the ignore mark back and forth before a match begins, maybe they could just hit a check box to possibly not personally see player marks?

Honeslty should put a cooldown on how often people can use marks its annoying to see constantly a target 1 bouncing between all 5 enemies and gets distracting

It's always bad players that start doing this too, just like with spamming quick chat. It's always someone else's fault etc. It should be a reportable offense. Not to get banned but to have privileges like that disabled until they learn to not be an annoyance in addition to a detriment to their team.

OR if you mute said person it won't show up in chat. Its like wiht hte people who spam the markers on teh ground that constantly follows them. Really hope they put a CD on marking people, could be like 5 seconds or if you use a skill like paladin guardian then the CD is teh duration of teh skill CD

I'd not be very comfortable with it because marking allies can sometimes be incredibly useful, notably for PLD's Guardian.
I'd just like their GMs to actually do something about it to begin with. I have a single example in mind of a player on Light that is consistently ignore mark spamming everybody in their team when they lose, and that emote over corpses over and over, and it's been like this for months and they're still playing there and pulling the same antics.
