Thanks for the hotfix to the entry system to Forked Tower

As it is already known, there are some teething issues like the silly and abusable countdown bug, and CBU3 still intends to adjust and implement other features to entry - The general sentiment across all communities holding Forked Tower runs is extremely positive, and I assume most players are too busy engaging with the content now and forgetting to post feedback about it on the forums so you get the usual suspects mad at how the content is designed to be tackled as an organized group that communicates with each other (god forbid).

Even some of the closed re-clear groups (which are a minority of the communities) are choosing to or considering opening up to fresh and prog runs because of the simple change to the system. Time is no longer being wasted, communities holding runs at the same time no longer bump and clash with each other and fight the "Instancing Boss (Ultimate)", people aren't as livid or mad at snipers, or at each other whenever a run goes sour and this is only after a single day of this change being implemented.

So while you'll get the crowd who will always complain about it; the kind that doesn't engage with 95% of the battle content in this game anyway; Overall morale and sentiment shot up across the communities holding Expeditionary Foray content and while I've only had the opportunity to run with two of them so far given Forked Tower is a rather time consuming endeavour even with the changes implemented - The fact is we are all now playing the game instead of trying to play the game, and I'd like to speak on behalf of the Forked Tower communities that we are glad that you chose to implement this immediately as opposed to waiting for 7.3

I'm sure it was written to give thanks for putting in the effort to fix it quicker than previously announced. The people against it being fixed quicker probably aren't trying to engage with the content so it's not relevant to them really. And I'm just being honest there - the fix is there to improve the experience for people who want to do Forked Tower in its existing form, not for people who want a Normal Mode, because they said they won't be making a Normal Mode for it.

This exactly, the people complaining are giving empty feedback and continuing to just repeat that the content isn't for them, that isn't going to change, which is why I was being rather derogatory towards those people in my post, that was intentional. The thanks was genuine because it allows us who wanted to engage with the content to actually partake in it without jumping through janky hoops and waste hours before actually being able to do so.

I have entered twice so far and both I was left alone in because I don't watch guide nor use discord. if this is how a "great" community treat others I think the content in itself is wrong I have seen to the second boss blind and everytime I die everyone ignored me and called me a sniper. No idea what that is not gonna lie x). but I just wanna clear and have fun yet it's horrible for two reason!

Reason number one is the community in itself I am sorry but wow at this point is better.

reason number two why can't you respawn at the start of the raid instead of a full wipe causing a failure. with how hard it is that I find stupid forked tower is legit savage so again pleasing the raiders more.

The reason they left you on the floor and (none of what I’m saying from here is indicative of my opinion of how this situation should be handled, I’m just explaining) because dead stars has two specific mechanics where one person doing the mechanic incorrectly will wipe the raid. Bridges following it has between 2 and 4 depending on if you are tanking and beyond marble dragon has a lot more

A person who isn’t in the discord call from thier perspective is a liability because they can’t explain to you how these mechanics work and from their perspective if you were to be one of the people who wiped the raid because of this you’ve just wasted a lot of their time (this is even more true if the party is at a deep prog point or a reclear, nobody who is reclearing wants to wipe to a random messing up fire towers on dead stars)

I can understand both their frustration (especially if you got in over a person who they planned to have in the run who might have signed up) and your frustration that you aren’t being treated properly and the system is annoying and confusing

However I fully agree that if a full wipe occurs anyone who has rezz stacks should be allowed to expend one to rezz back at the entrance of the current boss. Stupid sacc Chem strats are just annoying as hell and add nothing to the experience
