I want a job with cohesive gameplay and not just "pet/dot job on role xyz". Because that can be achieved easily by having a "Summon" button, two "Dot" buttons and an "I win" button, but that doesn't mean that the gameplay feels engaging with it.

Dark Knight and Summoner are the best examples of why gameplay gets boring if all your buttons are just different potencies with no interaction between them and the only thing holding them back is a 30 / 60 / 120s cooldown and no other gameplay mechanics that you'd actively have to think about.
